Sir Francis Wilfrid Fry, 5th Bt.1

Sir Francis Wilfrid Fry, 5th Bt. was born on 2 May 1904.2 He was the son of Sir John Pease Fry, 2nd Bt. and Margaret Theodora Fox.1 He married Anne Pease Wilson, daughter of Kenneth Henry Wilson and Mary Isabel Cadbury, on 19 June 1943.2 He died on 26 July 1987 at age 83.3
He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.)2 He was educated at Clifton College, Clifton, Bristol, England.2 He graduated from Trinity College, Cambridge University, Cambridge, Cambridgeshire, England, in 1925 with a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.)2 He was registered as a Member, Institution of Mechanical Engineers (M.I.Mech.E.)2 He was registered as a Chartered Engineer (C.Eng.)2 He fought in the Second World War.2 He gained the rank of officer in the Bomb Disposal Company, Royal Engineers.2 He was Area Manager, National Coal Board between January 1947 and March 1967.2 He was appointed Officer, Order of the British Empire (O.B.E.) in 1967.1 He succeeded as the 5th Baronet Fry, of Woodburn, Blackwell, co. Durham [U.K., 1894] on 14 January 1985. On his death, his baronetcy became extinct.3

Anne Pease Wilson1

Anne Pease Wilson was the daughter of Kenneth Henry Wilson and Mary Isabel Cadbury.1 She married Sir Francis Wilfrid Fry, 5th Bt., son of Sir John Pease Fry, 2nd Bt. and Margaret Theodora Fox, on 19 June 1943.2 She died on 16 March 2001.1
She held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.)2 She was Junior Commander, Auxiliary Territorial Service during the Second World War.2 From 19 June 1943, her married name became Fry.1 She was County Commissioner for County Durham, Girl Guides between 1959 and 1967.2

Hilda Geraldine Fry1

Hilda Geraldine Fry was the daughter of Sir Theodore Fry, 1st Bt. and Sophia Pease.1 She married Reverend Edward Bates Harbin, son of Thomas Bates, on 7 January 1908.2 She died on 20 July 1962.2
From 7 January 1908, her married name became Harbin.1 She held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.) for Somerset in 1926.2

Francis Fry1

Francis Fry was born on 28 October 1803.2 He was the son of Joseph Storrs Fry and Ann Allen.3,2 He married Matilda Penrose, daughter of Daniel Penrose, on 9 April 1833.2 He died on 12 November 1886 at age 83.2
He was appointed Fellow, Society of Antiquaries (F.S.A.)2 He was an antiquary and bibliographer.2 He lived at Tower House, Cotham, Gloucestershire, England.2

Francis James Fry1

Francis James Fry was born on 18 March 1835.2 He was the son of Francis Fry and Matilda Penrose.1,2 He married, firstly, Elizabeth Greer Rake, daughter of Joseph Rake, on 23 July 1861.2 He married, secondly, Elizabeth Pass, daughter of Capper Pass, on 17 January 1885.2 He died on 4 November 1918 at age 83.2
He lived at Cricket St. Thomas, Somerset, England.2 He held the office of Deputy Lieutenant (D.L.) of Somerset.2 He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.) for Somerset.2 He held the office of High Sheriff of Somerset in 1906.2
