Lt.-Cdr. Alistair Philip Cobbold was born on 8 September 1907.2 He was the son of Philip Wyndham Cobbold and Cicely Augusta Nevill.3 He married Mary Elizabeth Molloy, daughter of Brian Charles Baskerville Molloy and Gwendolen Beatrice Sanchia May Markham, in 1932 at St. Martin, London, England.4,2 He died in 1971 at Suffolk, England.2
He gained the rank of Lieutenant-Commander in the Royal Navy Volunteer Reserve.1 He lived at Holbrook Lodge, Holbrook, Ipswich, Suffolk, England G.1

Rosemary Jean Balfour.1,2 She married, firstly, Ronald Patrick Thorburn, son of Malcolm Murray Thorburn, on 5 July 1963.1,3 She married, secondly, Charles Brian Lascelles, son of Sir Francis William Lascelles and Esmée Marion Bury, in 1986.1
From 5 July 1963, her married name became Thorburn.1 From 1986, her married name became Lascelles.1
