Sir Frederick Seton James1

Sir Frederick Seton James was born on 8 April 1870.1 He was the son of William James and Ellen Dent.1 He married Doris Frances Bassevi, daughter of Colonel W. H. Bassevi, on 20 January 1917.2 He died in 1934.2
He was educated at Charterhouse School, Godalming, Surrey, England.2 He was appointed Knight Commander, Order of the British Empire (K.B.E.) in 1923.2 He held the office of Governor of the Windward Islands between 1924 and 1930.2 He was appointed Knight Commander, Order of St. Michael and St. George (K.C.M.G.) in 1929.2
