Colonel Sir Robert Philip Wyndham Adeane was born on 3 November 1905.1 He was the son of Charles Robert Whorwood Adeane and Madeline Pamela Constance Blanche Wyndham.1 He married, firstly, Joyce Violet Burnett, daughter of Reverend Cyril Frederick Parry Burnett and Violet Mary Philipps, on 1 June 1929.1 He and Joyce Violet Burnett were divorced in 1946.1 He married, secondly, Kathleen Hamet Dunn, daughter of Sir James Hamet Dunn, 1st Bt. and Gertrude Paterson Price, on 24 June 1947.1 He married, thirdly, Elizabeth Jane Kerrison, daughter of Roger Geoffrey Kerrison.3 He died on 21 May 1979 at age 73.4
