Sir Henry Clinton was born in 1587.1 He was the son of Henry Clinton, 2nd Earl of Lincoln and Elizabeth Morrison.1,2 He married, firstly, Eleanor Harrington, daughter of Sir James Harrington.1 He married, secondly, Elizabeth Hickman, daughter of Henry Hickman and Anne Wallop, in 1624.1 He died in 1641.1
He was also known as Henry Fiennes.2 He lived at Kirkstead, Lincolnshire, EnglandG.2

Reverend Charles Fynes-Clinton1

Reverend Charles Fynes-Clinton was born in 1748.2 He was the son of Norreys Clinton and Martha Thompson.3,2 He married Emma Brough, daughter of Job Brough, on 15 July 1779.3 He died on 13 November 1827.3
He was given the name of Charles Clinton at birth.1 He graduated with a Doctor of Law (LL.D.)3 He was the Rector at Cromwell, Nottinghamshire, EnglandG.1 He held the office of Prebendary of St. Peter's, Westminster.1 On 26 April 1821 his name was legally changed to Charles Fynes-Clinton by Royal Licence.1

Emma Brough was the daughter of Job Brough.2 She married Reverend Charles Fynes-Clinton, son of Norreys Clinton and Martha Thompson, on 15 July 1779.1 She died on 15 August 1831.
Her married name became Clinton.

Henry Fynes-Clinton1

Henry Fynes-Clinton was born on 14 January 1781.1 He was the son of Reverend Charles Fynes-Clinton and Emma Brough.2 He married, firstly, Harriet Wylde, daughter of Reverend Charles Edmund Wylde, on 22 June 1809.1 He married, secondly, Katharine Majendie, daughter of Rt. Rev. Henry William Majendie and Anne Routledge, on 6 January 1812.3 He died on 24 October 1852 at age 71.1
He was given the name of Henry Fynes at birth.2 He graduated from Christ Church, Oxford University, Oxford, Oxfordshire, EnglandG, in 1805 with a Master of Arts (M.A.)3 He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Aldborough, Yorkshire.1 He was appointed Fellow, Society of Antiquaries (F.S.A.)3 He lived at Welwyn, Hertfordshire, EnglandG.2

Harriet Wylde1

Harriet Wylde was the daughter of Reverend Charles Edmund Wylde.2 She married Henry Fynes-Clinton, son of Reverend Charles Fynes-Clinton and Emma Brough, on 22 June 1809.1 She died on 2 February 1810, without issue.1
From 22 June 1809, her married name became Fynes.
