Reverend John Barrington Pelham was born on 7 January 1848 at Tytherleigh, Hampshire, England.1 He was the son of Rt. Rev. Hon. John Thomas Pelham and Henrietta Tatton.2 He married Caroline Buller, daughter of Reverend William Buller and Eleanor Coney, on 19 July 1884.1 He died on 10 January 1941 at age 93.1
He graduated from Trinity College, Cambridge University, Cambridge, Cambridgeshire, EnglandG, with a Master of Arts (M.A.)1 He was the Vicar between 1889 and 1908 at Higham, Suffolk, EnglandG.1 He held the office of Hon. Canon of Norwich between 1906 and 1908.1 He was the Vicar between 1908 and 1914 at Thundridge, Ware, Hertfordshire, EnglandG.1

He was Inspector of Military Prisons.2 He was Surveyor-General of Convict Prisons.2 He did his National Service as a Major-General in the Royal Engineers.2 He was appointed Knight Commander, Order of the Bath (K.C.B.)1 He was Chairman of the Directors of Convict Prisons.2

Sir David Barnett Dundas, 2nd Bt. was born on 28 August 1803.2 He was the son of Sir Robert Dundas, 1st Bt. and Matilda Cockburn.2 He married, firstly, Catherine Margaret Whyte-Melville, daughter of John Whyte-Melville and Lady Catherine Anne Sarah Osborne, on 29 November 1841 at Bennochy, Fife, ScotlandG.2 He married, secondly, Lady Lucy Anne Pelham, daughter of Thomas Pelham, 2nd Earl of Chichester and Lady Mary Henrietta Juliana Osborne, on 24 August 1858.1 He died on 23 March 1877 at age 73.2
He succeeded as the 2nd Baronet Dundas, of Beechwood, co. Midlothian [U.K., 1821] on 28 September 1835.3 He was appointed King's Counsel (K.C.)2 He held the office of Solicitor-General.2
