Electric Lane towards Rushcroft Road, Dec 2003

Dec 2003 The pub is still open for business, but the Brixton Theatre was destroyed during the Blitz, with the site used by modern social housing and an extension to the adjacent Ritzy Cinema. Rushcroft Road has long been associated with a vibrant squatting community, but private developers are currently flogging off properties at an alarming rate of knots.
