Blue cloth with a gilt design

6½ x 4 inches

An elaborate cloth casing embellished with gilt overlays and red lettering. The binding was produced by Ralston during his time in Glasgow; there is no binder’s ticket and the company that produced it is unidentified. The design is signed ‘WR’ in the bottom right hand corner.
