The Ascension, St Alban's Church, Acton Green London, by William Morris & Co. (Westminster) (original) (raw)
The Ascension
William Morris & Co. (Westminster)
c. 1953
St Alban's Church, West Acton, London W8
According to the inscription, the window was given in memory of the Rev. Stanley Arthur Spackman, "vicar of this church for 24 years," who died in 1953. The firm of William Morris & Co. of Westminster was only founded in about 1901, and lasted until 1958. It is quite distinct from the more famous William Morris, and its windows are easily distinguishable from it.
