raduate students doing dissertation research on a Victorian topic are encouraged to apply for the Midwest Victorian Studies Association's 2026 Walter L. Arnstein Prize for Dissertation Research in Victorian Studies. Deadline to apply for the next award is 2 January 2026, and all details and instructions are currently available on the Prizes page of the MVSA website.

Please note that the prize is intended to support good research, not just reward completed projects, so in-process work is welcome. Questions can be sent to the email address on the website, but may be answered more quickly if directed to Dal Liddle, MVSA vice president.
