Inscription: on west side of base of the lion at the west end of parapet: “FARMER & BRINDLEY SCULPTS/ ELKINGTON & Co. FOUNDERS;” on the east side of the base of the lion at the east end of the parapet: “FARMER & BRINDLEY. Sc./ ELKINGTON & Co.FOUNDERS.”
