Snooks Eaglin discography
"(...) Louisiana Folklore Society, which I started together with two other people (...). My first albums were publications of the Folklore Society. That gave it some sort of dignity and official sponsorship. It did not include any money on the societies part, I did cover all expenses on my own. In late 1959, I switched from Louisiana Folklore Society to issuing records on my own label, Folk-Lyric." (Harry Oster in 1995 interview by Ranko Vujosevic)
