Activated 12.11.66 in Tatischevo, Saratov Oblast, under the60th Missile Division.
The regiment went on alert duty 1967 with 10 UR-100 (SS-11) silos in area BRK-4.
The regiment stood down 1979, and began conversion to the UR-100N (SS-19) missile - alert duty from 1.80.
Converted to the UR-100NU (SS-19) missile in 1985.
The regiment stood down 3.9.03, and began conversion to the RT-2PM2 Topol-M2 (SS-27) missile - alert duty from 24.12.05 with 2 silos, and from 2008 with 10 silos.
