Finishing off January #28 - #38 (original) (raw)

#28 - #38

Of Human Bondage (1934) - Bette Davis classic. Bad footage, but great film. Also stars Leslie Howard.

Chain Reaction (1996) - Keanu & Morgan Freeman star. Keanu is framed for a murder he didn't commit, and he has to simultaniously stop the bad guys from blowing up the city. No, Keanu can't act in this one either.

I Love You Again (1940) - Powell & Loy comedy. Powell had amnesia for 9 years and turned into a bore. His wife wants to divorce him. That is until she realizes that the man she spent the last 9 years with is a totally different person.

David and Lisa (1962) - David and Lisa are 2 disturbed people who live in a 'home' and eventually they learn to trust each other.

Less Than Zero (1987)- REWATCH. Downey Jr., and Andrew McCarthy classic 80s film about 3 friends and the party scene.

Mrs. Miniver (1942) - Greer Garson, Teresa Wright. A middle class family has to deal with the air raids and bombings of WWII.

Saw IV (2007) - Pretty good 4th part. Nothing really new until the end.

Rebecca (1940) - Olivier and Fontaine star. A woman marries a man she just met and goes to live in his mansion. She feels she has to compete with the ghost of his ex-wife, Rebecca.

1969 (1988) - Kiefer Sutherland, Winona Ryder and Downey Jr. 2 friends attempt to stay out of the military by enrolling in college, but when one of them is kicked out, they go to lengths to avoid the draft board.

Mansfield Park - Masterpiece Theater (2007) - Did not like this one as much as the 1999 version, but it was not bad.

Soylent Green (1973) - New York City in 2022 is scary. Glad it is not going to happen. The only food to eat is this soy/lentil concoction. This sci-fi film stars Charlton Heston.
