Greed (1924) - Silent film. One of the best ever made. Film about greed and what it does to relationships.
Ryan's Daughter (1970) Love Letters (1945) The Mayor of Casterbridge (2003) Goodnight Mr. Tom (1999)
Babel (2006) - I liked this, interesting to see how the lives of people you don't know can affect you.
Dragonwyck (1946)
Atonement (2007) - I really liked this. This is my 2nd time seeing it. I didn't see the whole thing the first time.
Night Nurse (1931) Thou Shalt Not: Sex, Sin and Censorship in Pre-Code Hollywood (2007)
August Rush (2007) - This was OK, not as good as I would have hoped. Young boy searches for his birth parents.
Dead Ringer (1964) Angels & Insects (1995)
Goya's Ghosts (2007) - Javier Bardem and Natalie Portman star. Slow movie, but it had its moments.
The Kite Runner (2007) - I was excited about this movie, but I enjoyed the book much more. I felt this movie dragged.
The Ox-Bow Incident (1943)
Caged (1950) - A young widow is sent to prision for accomplace to robbery. But rehabilitation doesn't always work, sometimes it makes things worse.
It Happened One Night (1934)
The Kid (1921) - Charlie Chaplin's first full length silent film.
The Sea Inside (2004) Tess of the D'Urbervilles (1998) Love in the Time of Cholera (2007) - Slow movie based on the book. I watched it for Javier Bardem who turns every role he gets to gold.
Lillies (Disc 1 of 3) Lillies (Disc 2 of 3) Lillies (Disc 3 of 3) The Nanny (1965) Sweeny Todd (2007) - Johnny Depp being...well...Johnny Depp. Entertaining.
Mr. Mogorium's Wonder Emporium (2007) - Kids movie, but very cute.
The Invasion (2007) - I've seen the three previous versions of this (Invasion of the Body Snatchers). I thought this was a pretty good version. It kept me entertained.
The Island of Dr. Moreau (1997) Live Flesh (1997) Portrait in Black (1961) Fortress (1986) - This film is dated, and has many corny moments, but the last 15 minutes were fantastic.
