1000_words_game - Profile (original) (raw)

If a picture is worth a 1000 words, then I'm making a fortune!

The ConceptEvery Friday, a new caption will be posted. It's your job, as a picture-maker, to make an original illustration to go with the caption. _This is fun because:_a) It's a good way to get (and keep) the creative juices flowing for everyone who likes to draw and make pictures!b) We all get to see how many different ways a caption can be interpreted and represented by other creative minds.
Rules of the game:-make a picture (any format, any skill level, any any) to go along with a posted caption.-post your picture as a reply to the initial caption. Do not post any pics in new posts**. The point of this being that anyone can "View Comments" for any given caption and see all the different interpretations of that caption.
PerksIf you already got your illustrative mojo working (and you participate in this community), you're welcome to pimp your site in a regular post.I'd like to keep promotions to one post per person (as opposed to announcing every time a new comic is up on your site). However, if you make a small banner ad for your site (200 X 50 pixels), I will put in on this info page! And I'll put your comic in the "interests" of this community!

So, in conclusion...

Neat huh? So get drawing. Also, if you have any suggestions on making this whole project better, I'd appreciate hearing about it!
