And the points are highly ordered off of Fractalizer following the same principle on several different size scales. They fuse findings across 150 people who got to the top of one of 63 professions or another of the 63 via a particular route they all shared and the capabilities of that route or what each book is presenting. In some ways this represents the largest study of expertise in general that’s been published so the books are quite challenging. If you are American or at ma top university like Harvard you will find these books ruthlessly criticize you and even at times mock your bias and your limited culture and your arrogance. If you are in academia and you are not used to seeing flaws in yourself: stay away from my writing I like to deal with ADULTS = educated people and I don’t like highly educated phd bigots. For example Americans need to be aware that if you consider dead teenage girls a “mere externality” on your way to profits with social media these books— every single page of them —condemns you condemns you, condemns your influence on the world, condemns your profits, and condemns the people who make excuses for you . If you are an undergrad or graduate student and went to college hoping that you’r bigotries from being raised somewhere would be lovingly handled: I am the wrong person for you you are the enemy of civilization. If you go to college for job, income et al, you will graduate a well paid psychopath barbarian and danger to us all. i The 8000 top people I gave to our interviews two and a 44 Page questionnaire to that they filled in or tough minded folks on a few points. And one of them was inviting people to adulthood out of childhood bigger trees or ven culture bigger trees of nations like the United States United States. If you joy in being a citizen of truth and not have any nation or political faction you’re my kind of person and you will love my books

All the books fix Harvard Caltech Oxford grads & professors curing their enormous flaws omissions pretensions and tottering tower narrowness. Our CHALLENGES are OCEANS but our minds and experts are SLIVERS —expert at something so tiny no one understands what the next gal/guy does, INCOMPETANT at the 99.9999999% of life & work outside their particular SLIVER. Add 10,000 such experts together and you get 1) ego games 2) rampant greeds 3) psychopath demos 4) failed societies like the USA totally unable to protect its kids generation after generation 5) 100,000 journal articles a month that—fortunately—no one reads 6) CEOs worshipped by servile media & populations like Americans have become 6) dummies with Nobel prizes hiding lack of thought in levels of math below Japan’s & Singapore’s & Shanghai’s public schools. This book 1 builds ways to USE FULLY 15 deep powers of all minds. The tragedy is Harvard leaves these untouched unexamined in their rush for faculty wealth. Engineers leave these untouched and unexamined in their rush to harm teenagers and democracies with side effects of their shallow technologies = connections that destroy and dis-connect people. THE FIX?—100 in book 1 and 100s more in books 2 & 3. Tested in generations of my students and consult clients and tech (not mere business) ventures. The 1st JPG —a wedding kimono just bought for 200$—a great deal at a fair near my condo. Will soon make 8 suits out of it.

From seminars ON TOTALIZING 33 CREATIVITY SCIENCES for faculty at Beijing University. Approximately 2 full 4 year top college undergrad degrees of ideas tools methods cases in one big gorgeous book. THE TOPIC IS 1) cultures that HIDE & 2) REALITIES they hide = PENETRATING BOTH how those atop 63 professions penetrated both. ANY ONE of the 70 methods in this book will get you to Fields Medal, Baldrige, VP or IPO RICHES by itself when sincerely applied. DOZENS of my seminar students have already done so. IS THE BOOK HARD?—1) yes very 2) just like all the rest of life 3) only for those wanting to read self praise not self boundaries to cross. PERUSE THE TABLES OF CONTENTS BELOW. They will tell you most of what you want to know. About half of them you won’t understand = that’s why you buy the book and read it = I don’t write books about what people already know: I don’t write books about what I already know: I write books about what you and I: don’t already know. DUH. My standard of research and writing is: everything I put in a book runs circles around the best grads and professors who ever were at Harvard Caltech Stanford. That’s not arrogant that’s the kind of limp society we have become. Somebody has to set higher standards. Look why the head of Stanford just resigned.

The three people who read all of it already in their feedback to me said I am “getting better and better“. I try! As usual this book is really three books 1/3 of it for beginners 1/3 of it for serious people interested in the topic and another third for people who want to be best in the world. The third of the book for that last group is very densely written so that each chapter in that part is actually a book by normal New York publishers or maybe several books by them for each chapter. I pride myself on not writing for people who are lazy and not writing for self help readers who are uneducated and don’t want to be educated. I also don’t write for people who want to be Merely Informed—— if you want to be informed read Wikipedia. I don’t compete with anything by New York publishers because I have contempt for everything they’ve done in recent half centuries. I find them hard to stay awake while reading. I also find them filled with bigotry that I have worked hard to outgrow and I expect my readers to work harder to outgrow. If you are American and want to stay American, I am not for you; if you are male and want to stay male, I am not for you. All the best people I interviewed USED their identity pieces instead of being them. My books nudge people in that direction. HAPPY NEW YOU not year LOL
In the largest study of the most diverse set of "top" people--8000+ atop 63 fields in 41 nations-... more In the largest study of the most diverse set of "top" people--8000+ atop 63 fields in 41 nations--conducted as the University of Chicago Booth School's EXCELLENCE SCIENCES Research Project, by the author of this book--54 distinct "routes to the top of nearly any field" were found and defined by the capabilities that distinguished each from the other 53. HOWEVER, beyond all that were attitudes, personal habits, styles, approaches and less easily specified-in-steps things shared by 50% to 80% or more of our 8000+ top people.
This book is book 1 of a 4 book series presenting ONE of those shared STYLES/APPROACHES--top people shared--they nearly all were PENETRATIVE. This book explores WHY they exhibited an hourly daily yearly DRIVE TO PENETRATE and WHAT they worked to PENETRATE. 16 things they PENETRATE in in this book Vol. 1; each of the 3 subsequent volumes also presents 16 different things PENETRATED by top ones in all fields.
From the point of view, described just above, of these 4 books, media and people today are NAIVE and LOUD and IMMATURE. They complain and fight about what our top ones PENETRATED in quiet without complaint. Our top ones EXPECTED THE WORLD TO BE CRAPPY, UNJUST, NASTY, and a pain to deal with. Magically, however, this did nothing to discourage them at all. At SARTRE wrote (several of our sample who had won Field's medals or Nobel prizes told us--consciousness is at fault for all the ugliness we face in us and others and the world. Consciousness pro-jects, throws forward, BEYOND all presents, seeing flaw after flaw after flaw in a never ending disappointment to naive people. Lillian Hellman was drama professor when the author of this book studied at MIT--she told a story about winning a TONY AWARD for best broadway show, coming home to her detective writer husband whose response was--"it will do nothing to help you write your next sentence tomorrow". That is the typical way our own conscious mind "thanks" us for work well done--it instantly sees and want "beyond". Our top ones KNEW this and grasped each new revealed flaw as an open frontier calling for more exciting personal growth, thought, tool making and invention.
You can spot a COMPLETE LACK of this attitude in most of our huge corporations and tech giants. They dislike revealed new flaws, intensely, and deny them with all their might. They hire hoards of lobbyists to deny them to regulators and customers. They think they hate reality but actually they are fighting how consciousness itself works and will always work.
Richard, who wrote this book, writes in prior books: "My single best programmer was easy to identify and understand--when something that SHOULD have worked did NOT, and he could immediately think of no reason for that, his eyes brightened, his mood improved, and he loved the mystery before him to solve--what fun! he often would say outloud."
The first 9 of 16 things penetrated that this volume 1 explains are:
PENETRATING--(we get beyond each or counter it)
how people grow by changing be X to have X
how people start toward adulthood by replacing their own interior Initial Factory Settings
noise--from promotion of self and product exaggerating tiny changes into "giant innovations"
mystifications--things mom taught us to trust that not only harm but many of them do nothing but harm us
bought truths--vast funds flood us with lies/wastes that enrich the already rich & hurt us & the planet

Squeeze squeeze squeeze—life after 40! LOL This is a humdinger—it came from seminar notes of a seminar I have taught 63 times believe it or not. The reaction of participants has always been so glowing so engaged so much better than engagement in my college classes that I kept teaching the damn thing. Well I got sick of the material I never got sick of the audience reaction: Emails later attesting to positive affects on projects and careers . The book looks at five different things that top people get to speak for themselves instead of them personally talking. To this add elaboration of one of those —— Getting ideas to speak for you—— Explaining 19 ways top people do this ——get ideas to stick to minds and projects. All of this was a tiny detail to me in a much larger model and project but to participants in the seminar it meant a lot and that surprised me. Both e-book and paperback versions are NOW selling on Amazon

These 10 books come from that the data set but they come from asking different questions of that data set most of them having to do with STRATEGY —cognitive, social, existential, LLM AI, culture, career, knowledge restructuring etc. The tin covers furnished on this one summary page are packed with information and besides cover is either a table of contents or a summary from a bigger table of contents. ----New commonsense replacing our old ideas of good, excellent, fast, effective\\If you supervise... more ----New commonsense replacing our old ideas of good, excellent, fast, effective\\If you supervise student design projects or young designers in your own agency, you get tired of repeating, again and again, the same things each design either has to take into account or adapt itself to, whether to engage or avoid or mitigate. The problem is not bad education but dated education--the things their professors or mentors got them used to looking for or anticipating, are traditional and shrinking in power and relevance in favor of more than a dozen entirely new emerging dimensions each design has to RIDE, EMBRACE, HANDLE, PARASITE-ON.
----Exactly the same thing can be said of leaders and leadership. If you mentor young execs in a rapidly growing tech venture after it takes hold, or in a bold part of an immense global firm, you find yourself repeating the same dozen+ dimensions that have to be noticed, taken into account and handled. Their schooling simply habituated them to notice of extremely dated tradition Michael Porter generation things that are amusing rational-seeming and nearly entirely useless today.
----WHAT ARE THE LANDSCAPES that every design, creation, act of establishing directionality (all aimed at the same direction/outcome) and directedness (all pulling in the same direction in mutual help) take place on?
----There is another route to this destination--ineffective and suicidal definitions of "good, excellent, speedy, adequate, effective, relevant". If any one of the 35 LANDSCAPES this book presents are omitted or slighted, some giant force, often on another size scale, or delayed in time, or shifted in modality, comes back to undo all the rest of the good stuff you do. When someone says "what we proposed/attempted is quick and effective" when you put it up against the speed of new techs, emerging new genres of product, new imagined needs of people--"quick" turns out to be slow, and "effective" turns out to mean "irrelevant".
----Our language of aspired for traits of things ALWAYS ASSUMES particular landscapes as criteria of measure. Relative to industrial age car development--X is fast; but relative to new venture e-car experimental factories today, X is terribly slow, for example. In other words, when LANDSCAPES, many of them, diverse ones, at the same time SHIFT in a major way, old ones dying out, entirely new unimagined ones appearing--our ENTIRE COMMONSENSE of what is good, safe, effective HURTS US.
----This book aims at this and FIXES IT, better than ANY OTHER BOOK PUBLISHED at the time of writing. Dozens of execs, founders, venture capitalists, top scientists launching tech ventures have bought this book BECAUSE IT IS THE SHORTEST, FASTEST, MOST PRACTICAL WAY to update commonsense, redefine our aspirational words, keep WHAT YOUTH TAKE INTO ACCOUNT comprehensive, diverse, detailed, multi-level, non-linear, and "effective" in the LANDS TODAY that all take place on.
----The 35 LANDSCAPES treated, include: flaws in how brains see reality, 20 brain module oppositional pairs so more of 1 means less of the other, expanding what mental operators apply to from 7 ideas to dozens at a time, countering flaws installed in us all by top universities and their elites, totalizing bodies of knowledge to defeat elite professional treatments of them, dialog among 5 types of computational system making everything more computational, technologies as a RIVER so evolving ecosystems are the land they RIDE on, lubricating flows of idea-fund-tech-person till they find homes that love them into fruition, replacing ancient media and interfaces with updates more evolutionary-computational-biologic, emerging new sciences across old fields, non-linear consequences of present acts, invisible culture routines, selves as practiced routine sets, story powers, insight dynamics, tipping point finding, biosense replaces mechanics, 16 kinds of sociality, why creations FEMINIZE.

In addition my business career of democratizing artificial intelligence in nine giant global corporations was fully integrated into literature reviews and action research interventions. This one page is amazing because until I created this page yesterday I had never looked at Which of my 110 books were selling well and which were not. The 11 books on this one page are my best sellers and the lovely thing is, to my surprise, they are also the two kinds of books I made that are least like everyone else’s books, namely: 1) Inside the mind protocols books of many methods/steps of how the top minds do things from my artificial intelligence expert systems work 2) books of many diverse models to replace elite single Riteish academic models that don’t do much in the way of impact. Each model fixes flaws or omissions in other models so the set is a whole outperforms even the best Harvard models that have fully validated variables of zilch impact. I expect no one to like these books because of the large number of steps in the large number of models but these were the best sellers that amazes me and I want to thank all the readers who put up with this giant expansion in plurality that represents my way of writing and research—[Got the idea from Herbert Simmons Little book sciences of the artificial in 1967 where he said——we were creating narrower and narrower minds and professions and bodies of knowledge that were tinier and tinier slices of the problems we faced].
This 483 page new paper back book on Amazon selling now summarizes 13 research literature is each... more This 483 page new paper back book on Amazon selling now summarizes 13 research literature is each in a comprehensive model of 64 or 128 points with extreme ordering on multiple layers. Starting with Kegan’s Harvard compendium of One Overall self growth process, the book moves up and down size scales to that same process, as Hannah Arendt elaborated it before Kegan as 64 steps of how societies grow their cultures via social revolution dynamics. Otto + Bohanan models fused produce here 37 ways Othernesses force to surface hidden from birth self contents while some better alternatives are found in the foreign situation. Penetrating othernesses exposes paradoxes without and within forcing noticings respondings LATERAL, beyond own norms = insight process dynamics so foreign work practices one in insighting = you come home much more creative. Knowledge in all fields evolves by “foreign-ing” themselves so what any new idea-frame “means” is NOT its content but what it replaced. Similarly invisible social routines determine app/device/new-practice “innovation” success and failure hence tools to get this “social life of info” reveal what an innovation replaces is its “meaning.ALSO similar dynamics make all successes fail tho mind extensions amplifying beyond what brains alone do offer some protection surfacing early “costs” of “better” routines/ideas. Mere CLEANING create—Japan showed this exposed root causes (and male boss idiocy firing bearest worker to a problem, skipping causes entirely (MBA)). The book’s last chapter has 3 set of exercises, instructions, and reviews how to use the 16 primary tools/models in the book. This is text for a 1 or 2 semester course in sizes of selves, measuring adultness of persons/designs, fixing the college error of educating only brains not tools outside them that amplify far beyond brain capabilities/performances.
The master work of 60 models of creativity runs 2500 pages. Professors need something shorter and... more The master work of 60 models of creativity runs 2500 pages. Professors need something shorter and sweeter yet that still does the main shift in mind—the so-called “graduate school insight shift”. Undergraduates Perry researched changed from “I am right” to provisional committed relativism in four years. In analogy all good graduate schools shift students from seeking the rightist single model that beats others two collecting sets of plural diverse models that fix each other’s flaws weaknesses and biases. The excess maleness of academia causes beating boasting & ststus/territory fights to LARGELY SUPPLANT thought. The AMERICAN DISEASE worsens all of this by replacing thought with 1) who publishes the most tiny topic papers 2) all reporting “high” Pee-values (pun intended) that a) fail replication b) evaporate outside sterile lab conditions and c) report NO magnitudes or boundary conditions. Every faculty now holding a job based on this system is a liar a fake and useless and publishes useless work. We all know this but we’re getting paid for it so who cares. These seven books do care—DO CARE. Each of them produces the graduate student inside that no one model however best or rightist is safe for implementation. Every CEO already knows this the chance that our one academic much lauded has the only right model is zero. So each book presents six models that are different out of the 60. Also unlike usual academia the models are grounded with examples and exercises because students are very bad at turning abstract causal paths into causal observations and deeds.

Now unlike most of your courses and professors these tools have been rigorously longitudinally tested in North America east Asia and Europe among 60 or so major global corporations among 20 or so technology (not mere “business”) ventures, while being taught in nine top 20 graduate schools also similarly distributed. 1) The book is beautiful visually 2) The book has little if any waste or dis-focus 3) it doesn’t flood you with too much it has three tools for each dissipative force only 4) there are captions everywhere which add to main points in the prose 5) A few of the tools have relatively huge explanatory articles attached to them 6) there are proven tested steps that hundreds have already successfully applied clearly written and explained for each of the named tools 7) IN SUM THE BOOK IS —— FOR USE. It is not meant to be a pile of things that make you feel smart that you immediately forget like other books or that you never apply like most books. 8) not one of the methods is in any way difficult or hard intellectually or practically nor are any of them requiring deep personal change as methods are in some of the other volumes. That means if you can’t do these methods you are probably a cockroach & need to consider changing your wardrobe. I really like writing new stuff and I really dislike writing old stuff so I’m really glad this series is done done done and in iPhone format so there’s no excuse not to read it anywhere you are. It’s a fundamental change in thought that you will eventually have to deal with —— the switch from single elite right-y models to sets of plural diverse models. This forces thought to have 1) wide coverage 2) depth of detail 3) ease of application and 4) to involve a great deal of combinatorial exponential growth. THIS EBOOK 1000 pages SELLING ON AMAZON IN HOURS shows in depth 660 of the 1000 LEVERS TOTAL. I know very well everyone reading this prefers and is habituated to 4 or 5 insights in a book. This book has 660 in a row 1.5 pages each. So readers tell me this is hard for them to read. That’s not strictly true they have no trouble reading the insights they have trouble changing their own prior views that often that far. They prefer Books that leave 99% of them the same and dislike books that leave 99% of them discomfited. I am not in this for money. I left shallow Americanisms behind in 1968. I have spent most of my life far beyond their crap. As a reward the very best of them come to me on their own initiative as two CEOs did yesterday one flying all the way from Taiwan. Both of those guys yesterday saw my prior leverage book advertisement and were intrigued. Maybe that’s why they’re CEOs not “managers“.

Engineers leave these untouched and unexamined in their rush to harm teenagers and democracies with side effects of their shallow technologies = connections that destroy and dis-connect people.

It is not meant to be a pile of things that make you feel smart that you immediately forget like other books or that you never apply like most books. 8) not one of the methods is in any way difficult or hard intellectually or practically nor are any of them requiring deep personal change as methods are in some of the other volumes. Inserting deliberately the evils and negatives of people, places, situations, and creating as they fight in real organizations and lives restores power to students made weak by avoiding negatives and "being objective" about harsh evil psychopath bosses, evil competitors, and dishonest suppliers, bosses, and clients. Seeing evil as it is as evil empowers students to handle ruthless hierarchy and competition and how they turn people against each other and away from greatness.

Einige Beispiele mogen dies verdeutlichen.

If you want to master many, most, or all of these Creativity Sciences (also called Novelty Sciences) or announce results to many, most, or all of them, you have to visit dozens of places, sites, people and institutions or publish in dozens of journals. Many of these Creativity & Novelty Sciences compete for funds and hinder each other's progress. This paper reports on the design and initial pilot operations of a Single One-Stop Source for 18 Creativity & Novelty Sciences, all taught in relation to each other using common ground among them furnished by 60 models of creativity. It encompasses 45 models of innovation, 48 approaches to design, and, in general, a switch from academic seeking of One Right-y Model for all to bow down to, to balanced repertoires of plural models that compensate for each other's flaws and biases. A school of 9 Creativity Sciences in one 3-week session and 9 more in a second 3-week session (each course on 2 consecutive days of 10 hours). At the core of each course is a repertoire of plural diverse models approach that challenges the Single Right-y Model approach of academia.

Reflecting a clash of cultures, academics whine about lack of industry support for pure research while developers complain about academia turning out graduates inadequate for implementing new technologies like Al. Both look over their shoulders at Japan andworry. And as the book progresses, it is this aspect that dominates one's attention. This model brings to bear on the questions of creativity research the tools and concepts of non-linear system dynamics. The emergence of creative works and creative insights is understood as a non-linear system dynamics avalanche event. Populations of things interacting in creative performance are identified and understood using non-linear system dynamics concepts such as the connectedness, diversity, and patchings ...

What causes certain people to rise to the top of all traditional disciplines? 2. What is a scientific basis for cross-discipline work? 3. What will solve the narrowness problem of traditional disciplines causing more and more problems to fall in the cracks between them? 4. Is there such a thing as “educatedness” distinct from effectiveness and creativity, such that people can be effective and/or creative in various ways yet underperform for lack of “educatedness”? The Excellence Science research project got 315 eminent people in 63 strata of society, half American, half global, to nominate what enabled the best people in their own field to rise to the top, producing 54 orthogonal fields, cutting across all traditional fields and determining who rises to their tops, then they were asked to nominate 150 people in each of those 54 o...

Part of that data presented a crowd-sourced new theory of sustainable systems, presented in this paper---showing design for surviving, and design for imposing being later used as opportunities for design for sustainability. Survivable systems, imposable systems are defined, and ways to empower engineers to equal or surpass the power of MBA managers later in their careers, ...

Traditional and aboriginal cultures that, in their own opinion, are not effectively responding to the challenges of modernisation are generally forced to chose between either traditional culture elements or those foreign culture elements proffered by modernisation. A middle way that recovers and reinterprets traditional culture components and then uses them to suggest ...

This paper is the first publishing of practical applications of Complexity Theory to improve management-systems and behaviors of general relevance.

Fundamental concepts in Complexity Theory are presented along with eight tools for applying them and a brief location of this theory in a history of systems science. A coalition building model of social goal formation, policy formation, policy selection, and policy implementation processes is presented.

How do we measure how great a work of art is long before history makes it judgement? Can we and how can we predict the greatness of a work of art? 2. How do we specify changes in any existing work of art that actually succeed in increasng its greatness and historic impact? 3. How do we measure the degree to which particular lives lack essential levels of art? What levels of art are essential for healthy good lives? What levels of lack of art lead lives into disarray or suffering? 4.

The 4 social change processes are modeled as different uses of coalition building sharing 6 steps.

The 4000 are categorized under my 450 intellectual interests so advising became mapping student topics onto those 450 and simply printing out the lists of books that resulted---fast, efficient, easy. Since reading is not done at Harvard-Stanford-MIT anymore and since little actual writing is done and since those colleges graduate PHDs using less sophisticated stats than blue collar Japanese quality circles--the idea of re-injecting reading, writing, decent stats into minds in my personal advising work was NOT appreciated and NOT rewarded. The pressure was accept junk and graduate junk because "we need their tuitions or the money from loans they take out". I refused this venal stuff as best I could--the result---LOTS of reading and writing done by MY advisees regardless of the low standards swarming around me. Stick in the mud I think is the technical word for this
