[I'm** |tiredtired] [In my ears** different names for the same thing]last night, someone came into my room, lifted their leg in order to facilitate a desired pressure differential, promptly stood straight and said "man, i gambled and lost" then left my room.

[I'm** |tiredtired] [In my ears** built to spill]you know its gonna be a long day when, upon getting out of bed, you think "man, im pretty tired..." its strange what kind of disappointment arrives as a result of certain expectations. i will have to say that im positively disappointed this week. not the positive as in absolute, but positive as in happy. its somewhat of a refreshing disappointment in that i thought this week would be a nightmare when in fact it has been pretty good. its the second to last week of school, and i had four projects to do this week...the stupid one was cancelled because my prof stepped back and said "hey, this project is just busywork..." and cancelled it. i finished the paper for one project last night, most of my weapons project is done (which was actually pretty fun to do) and the only real project i have to do is fun (at least for a nerd like me). the only dread i have today is a double period of double e, then a parade, then mandatory character lecture...speaking of ee, last ee class i bout fell out of my chair laughing. we just finished building our am radios (every time someone says "transistor radio" i think of van morrison singing brown eyed girl). our prof was lecturing over something, at which i was struggling to pay attention to, along with the rest of the class. the kid sitting next to me had his face down on the desk, his lips were over the corner of his radio, and he was wiggling them, such that his radio was flopping on his desk. he was not attempting to take notes, or even to pay attention. thats how painful this class is sometimes. i find it particularly funny when we have speakers that come to speak to us and say things like "you are doing great things..." then to my right at 230 in the afternoon one day and see this kid doing this...not to say that we dont...i guess... i just find it mildly amusing when the two things connect at the same moment in my mind. needless to say, my life has flown by since i got back from spring break. it seems like im in a state of perpetual motion, defying the laws of the universe and scheduling sleep into my routine only where it fits, trying to get things done, trying to work out, and eating way too many sour patch gummy fruits (as of late i seem to have developed a moral objection to eating sour patch kids for some reason...) at least i dont color-coordinate this magnificent culinary experience. but, no worries: seven more days of class....woo...hoo...and then...something will happen, i just dont want to think about it yet. im tired, and dont have time to make use of my bed. it is definitely starved for attention as of late...i ran ten in 66.55...not too badyou know a song is awesome when its eight and a half minutes long and you dont want it to end.
