Remembering 350.org in your estate is one of the most meaningful gifts you can offer to future generations.
A bequest is a gift made through your will or trust. It is a popular and flexible way to support our cause. With the help of your advisor, you can include language in your estate documents specifying a gift be made to 350.org.
Sample Language:
“I give (a dollar amount, all or a percentage, residue, remainder, or other assets or property) of $_______ [or the following property described as ______________ ] to 350.org, a not-for-profit corporation registered in the District of Columbia in the United States of America. 350.org is an IRS-approved 501(c)(3) non-profit charitable organization and its tax exempt identification number (EIN) is 26-1150699. 350.org’s mailing address is PO Box 843004, Boston, MA, 02284-3004, USA, and can be reached at (+1) 646-389-3061”
And, don’t forget to let us know when you set up your bequest, so we can thank you for your generous support, by sending an email to [email protected] or calling us at (+1) 646-389-3061.
You can donate through your employer and some corporations will match your gift, so you can double your impact.
Employee giving programs can take several forms, such as United Way, Community Health Charities (CHC), or your employer may have their own individual program. Donations can be given monthly, quarterly or annually and are 100% tax-deductible. Contact your Human Resources department to learn more about giving opportunities.
Some companies allow you to make payroll deductions which are then donated to your charity of choice. Additionally, some employers are part of organized employee giving campaigns such as:
United Way - must write in our full name and address:
350.org
P.O. Box 843004
Boston, MA 02284-3004
Creating Healthier Communities (CHC) - select 350.org
Combined Federal Campaign (CFC) - use our official code #14535
You can double (or sometimes triple) your impact through employer matching gift programs. Follow these easy steps:
- Find your employer in the search tool below. The search results will give you additional information on how to complete the process. If you do not see your employer listed, contact your Human Resources department to find out if there is a program or if you can start one.
- If matching gift forms must be sent by mail, send completed matching form to:
350.org
P.O. Box 843004
Boston, MA 02284-3004

When you donate online at www.350.org/donate, you can select “Donate in someone’s honor” (listed under the donation amounts). You will then be given the option to include your honoree’s name, email address, and your message to them. They will then receive an email that you donated in their honor, with your message included (excluding the amount of your gift). If you would like us to re-send your note to your honoree, please email [email protected] and we are happy to help.

350.org is a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit, and all donations to our organization are tax deductible only in the United States. If you donated online, you should have received an automatic donation receipt sent to the email you inputted to the donation form. If you do not see this right away, we recommend first checking your spam folder, as they can sometimes end up there.
If you donated via check, our official process is to send paper tax receipts in response, and so we will be sending your tax receipt in the mail as soon as possible.
If you are a monthly online donor, you will be receiving one annual tax receipt for your total monthly gifts at the beginning of the following year.
If any of these processes did not work for you, or if you have any questions, we are happy to help! Please reach out to us via email at [email protected] or call us at (+1) 646-389-3061.
