Ok guys I ended up making a new community. This one wont let you post pictures unless the moderator approves them and it doesn't look like they been active in years.
The new community is 52_crafts_tng

Ok guys so lets do this.
I might start a new community but for now we will stay here.
So starting next week lets all try to do a craft a week for a year or more!
If you don't do a craft every week that's ok you can still participate. Just give weekly updates on what your doing or thinking of doing.
I figure we will all do our own thing but some weeks we will have themes. I will give themes in advance or asked for suggestions and maybe we will have contest sometimes where we all vote on a winner.
How does that sound to everyone?

So I know no one has done this for 2 years and I am not a moderator but I would love to get this group active again.
If needed I will make a new group but starting in September is anyone interesting in doing a weekly craft challenge?
Personally I want to work on plushies and corsets. Whats your interest?

Since coming back from my trip I've whipped up these three albums for birthday / Christmas gifts for my family.
I plan to add a handful of pictures to the albums to allow the recipients to see what it will look like (and hopefully motivate them to continue).
I had a lot of fun making these, and I'm pretty proud of them.

I started a pineapple afghan about 4 years ago when I went to seminary. It is my favorite baby afghan and I've made at the very least a half dozen for friends. This one was for my Bèbè Hope Chest so it wasn't a priority. Since graduation this spring I've been trying to get healthy, which included sinus surgery. This left me with time to finish up a UFO. Here is the finished project, which includes the whole saga about what happens when you don't buy enough yarn and the yarn gets discontinued. I'll spare you the drama here. ;-)
My husband is especially pleased with the finished afghan. You can't ask for more than that. :-D
( Clix for pixCollapse )
I am now working on a companion piece with the leftover yarn - A Diaper Bag Changing Pad

I volunteered to help a friend in distress this week. I made bloomers for her steampunk costume. I used muslin and cotton lace trim for Simplicity Pattern 9769.

Final post for the day to do with Crafts.
These cards were again made by using a rubber stamp, copic markers and shopping from my stash.
