I’m an artist / composer / engineer with a deep fascination for all things audio + film.
For seven years I ran Crew Studios – a vibey, well-equipped studio in North Vancouver. I recorded folks like Geoff Hicks, Darren Parris, Kevin Finseth, Derek Gripper, Leo D.E Johnson, Tom Cavanagh, and Peggy Lee among others. I facilitated and assisted sessions for producers and artists including Winston Hauschild, Bilal, Chris Gestrin, and Hal Beckett.
I’ve scored several short films, including Tom Cavanagh’s award-winning Tom and Grant, and a demo of a Kevin Smith’s Red State feature film, which had no score in its release – watch it here.
I continue to write songs:

You can sometimes find me at Highlife Records in East Vancouver where I’ve worked off and on for many years. We turn people onto artists like Lhasa, Cheikh Lo, Manu Chao, Ólafur Arnalds, James Hunter, and labels like Daptone, World Circuit, Soul Jazz and No Format.
I’m a member and volunteer of the Vancouver Post Alliance.
