[Current Mood \|guilty]After seeing Troy, we looked up the story online to see what truth there was in the movie...they did pretty well as far as I can tell, except that it didn't actually end so well in the real story....I actually thought that Brad Pitt was believeable as Achilles. In real life, I think that Achilles was not so buff, since his mother hid him with a bunch of girls and apparently no one noticed. Perhaps that adds to his legendary status as a demigod- the fact that maybe in Real Life he looked like a wuss but was a rad fighter? Just a thought I just came up with. But anyways, while we looked up the story, I noticed that several characters were referred to at different times by different names, but Achilles is always just "Achilles". Does he have another name, or was he so spectacular a warrior that everyone remembered it? I admit I know very little about the Trojan War, but if anyone wants to fill me in on this, that would be appreciated.
