Today we were supposed to run 4 miles, but our 1st Sgt cut it short since the people who are shipping our stuff to Korea were supposed to come today to pack it all up, and we had to supervise. Well, that sort of happened. Apparently, the company that came today was only picking up a few people's stuff- the rest is getting picked up tomorrow instead. So I spent the whole day sitting in my room in the barracks, waiting for movers who never came. Now, my room is a bit of a shambles because of it...the NCOs told us to separate what was going and what wasn't, so now I have a massive pile of stuff 'to be shipped' that is just sorta sitting in the center of my room.

Aside from PT, there really wasn't much point to today at all. Which is rapidly becoming a trend, unfortunately- all we've been doing lately is busy work and stupid little details to get the barracks ready to be handed over to 1-7. It's a real motivation-killer. I mean, what's the point of getting up so damn early if we're just gonna spend the whole morning after PT sitting on our asses?

At this point, I'm just ready to hurry up and GO to Korea already- the sooner we get there, the sooner the year will be over, right? And then once I get back I can reup and finally reclass and get OUT of freaking Air Defense Artillery, which is causing me to die a slow and boring death.

And then I can go PsyOps and go to Bragg and perhaps finally, finally see Jeffrey again.....I miss him so much. :( Long distance relationships suck.
