The National Finals Rodeo is the ABCRA’s biggest event with hundreds of competitors travelling from all over the nation to compete. Throughout the year riders compete at a number of ABCRA affiliated events to accumulate points and the top point scorers in each rodeo discipline are invited to compete in the National Finals.
The 2025 National Finals Rodeo will be held from 22-24 January, 2026 in Tamworth, NSW.
With top honours and big prize money up for grabs, the National Finals Rodeo sees the top riders go head-to-head at the state-of-the-art Australian Equine & Livestock Events Centre (AELEC) in Tamworth, NSW. Held during the iconic Tamworth Country Music Festival the National Finals Rodeo includes all rodeo disciplines, including:
- Bull Ride
- Bareback
- Saddle Bronc
- Team Roping
- Rope and Tie
- Steer Wrestling
- Breakaway Roping
- Ladies Barrel Race
- Steer Undecorating
The three-day event also shines a light on the best up and coming competitors, with a full schedule of junior and juvenile events.
