I analyze the evolution from body adornment to deconstruction of fashion. Then, I explore the use of fashion as a form of self-expression in this essay.
During my Erasmus + exchange year in Vienna, I had the opportunity to choose the course 'London F... more During my Erasmus + exchange year in Vienna, I had the opportunity to choose the course 'London Fictions: From Dickens to Zadie Smith.' As a final assignment, I had to write a critical reflection on a topic that is related to the course. I decided to explore the 'wordliness' of London because of my numerous visits and fascination with the capital city. I included personal experiences because I thought they were necessary for the reader's comprehension of certain ideas, connections and associations.

I focus on the moral of this fairytale, which is 'self-acceptance' and the theme of 'breaking the curse' in the movie.

We will be looking closely at individual trials that took place in Germany. The three major reasons are the concept of 'female weakness', the general fear of women who embody the stereotype as
the ‘female other’ , a woman who opposes to the role of mother and wife. Then, we will discuss the inequality between both sexes.
