| | [ A lone figure steps into view. A cloak is wrapped about his shoulders, coming up high enough to cover his mouth and nose while its hood hiding his hair. The split tail of a long turquoise coat is visible under the bottom of the cloak - the cloak itself does not even reach past far past his thighs - and a pair of vibrant green eyes are visible below the edge of the hood. Whoever this is is notably unarmed and seems to have taken at least some care in hiding his identity. The figure comes to a halt suddenly, his brow furrowing in consternation as he takes in his surroundings. He would admit may not have been the best with directions still - even now, all these years after his "grand adventure," as Guy had merrily dubbed it - but he did know the difference between a desert and a snowfield. That wasn't to say this place closely resembled Mount Roneal or anything, but there was something he could definitely say with absolute certainty: it was definitely not Chesedonia.Which presented a rather unique problem for him.Well, maybe it wasn't so unique, persay. But it was relatively rare over the past few years.Luke came to a halt, adjusting the hood of his cloak before looking around himself to see if he could find any discernibly recognizable features in this place he found himself in, only to hang his head in disappointment mere moments later. ]What the hell? How did I- ...damnit, now there's no way I'll make it in time; he's going to be pissed.[ Don't mind him while he continues to rant to himself about finding himself somewhere he does not recognize, clearly far from where he was headed. On the other hand, this probably makes him a prime target for someone to sneak up on. As long as they don't mind interesting reactions.By all means, feel free to bug him. ][ ooc; 10-years-later, fonist/hymnist Luke returns! Except I've reworked him slightly, so he's reset. Which makes it easier to work with him since I completely forget any CR he had two years ago, save for times he cracked obsidianmotion over the head with a staff for being an Aschhole. Because who could forget something like that? His full info is forthcoming, once I manage to sit down and write all of my modifications and such. ] [Come take a nice look at the scenery! The sun is shining, a bush just got lit on fire, the sky is clear, someone is whacking away at a tree with his staff, the grass is green!Yes, a fantastic day means a day for training! And contrary to his icons, he's jacketless today; just his pants and his tiny t-shirt well, and his shoes. If you don't want to get hit, you'll want to announce your presence before coming to close, as a fair warning.] [Staff-bearing Luke is out and about. Or at least out, since he's not doing much in the way of wandering about. Instead, he's kind of sitting almost precariously on a tree branch, leaning back against the trunk with his eyes closed, his staff held across his stomach.Oh, this can't end well.] [Luke is sitting against a tree, hugging his staff to himself with his eyes closed and humming softly. But he quiets down after a bit, opening his eyes to stare up at the sky.]...Mother. I guess, even after all this time, you've been waiting for us, haven't you? We should have gone back... even the way we were.. [And here's Luke, sitting on a nicely-sized rock and making a groove in the ground with the end of his staff. He seems pretty intently focused on this. Bother him? Y/N?] [He's drawing something into the ground with the end of his staff, humming to himself as he does so. Every now and then, he pauses, tilting his head and letting his humming die away to assess his progress before he starts drawing again.] _[curled up, looking over at the horizon with his knees hugged to his chest]_I... think I want to go home... [Luke decided to go for a walk to clear his mind a bit due to... everything that's happened and that he's found out. Of course, he wasn't really expecting anything big to happen while he's out, but when do things ever go according to that kind of plan? Which would explain the fact that he's found himself facing off with some boarlets, elder boars, and boarrigs. Not exactly the clear-your-mind, relaxing day he'd expected to have.] _[Luke is, uh... "walking" along, leaning heavily on his staff for support as he can barely keep himself upright and dragging his feet as he goes. He looks exhausted, half-dead, and he's got blood all over him. Why? Because Luke is the sort of idiot who apparently doesn't give himself a chance to rest after attempts to heal people on a massive level.Eventually, he stops to lean against a wall face-first, just standing there for a few moments before drawing his hand up and punching it.]_Damnit damnit DAMNIT![And he collapses down, crying.] Top of Page | |
