Acanthus holds a strong attachment to the older yaoi fangirl subculture and works hard to introduce original pieces – stories, short stories, artwork, as well as articles and reviews -- relating to our similar interests. We’d like to break past both shallow and elitist boundaries, weaving a solid, sophisticated community for.. well.. manservice™.
We do not expect to be the absolutely best source for original yaoi content on the web (though we’d like to be a very good resource, of course!), but we plan to work hard to make sure Acanthus inspires, introduces, and educates you. We, of course, cannot do this without contribution from everyone involved in the yaoi community: so if you have a piece to share, we’d love to see it! ^_^ As this stage in Issue One, we still have a lot of room for potential growth. First issue is post-poned to April, as we’re still organizing the database and collecting content. Suggestions, comments, concerns, are always welcome.
Remember, Acanthus will only be as grand as the effort everyone puts into it. ^_^ Again, if you have comments, questions, or suggestions at any time, please drop them at the community~!
