| after...2ish maybe more..years of playing...I finally got zMUD thanks to a friend.haha. I was so scared to switch over, and still love Nexus because it has all it's bars and things that help me..but I now own zMUD :Oand After a while of "dormancy" I'm back and forth on achaea on one of my characters.I missed it, i missed the people. :D | |

| 1. 18-year-olds clad in their newbie robes who are ranked higher than me: yes I realize they are likely alts and/or have chosen a race-class combo which is better at bashing than I am (and it would be pretty hard to be worse, I think) but man oh man does it make me feel like I suck. =(I guess I'd have to, like, leave my city and stuff if I really wanted to do better at that. BABY STEPS.2. Don't you hate it when you have the sneaking suspicion that the character you're interacting with is played by someone who also plays a different character you've interacted with before, but you have no OOC contact with this person and you don't want to just come out and ask? And you realize that it shouldn't matter but it drives you completely insane anyway? Or is that just me?3. Truffles are luv <3 | |

| i think it would be convenient for all of us if somebody here started a thread to contain some of those things people might be expected to copy from a book somewhere in achaea. most notably the apocrypha in mhaldor and the codex in shallam, but anything your house or city wants you to copy into a letter or journal, should be in a comment to this post so anyone can find it. i'll start with the apocrypha as soon as i'm done with this, though the copy i have has, i hope, been corrected since i first had to copy it. (they made me keep the typos and such!) so if anyone responds with a copy different from mine, i think that's fair. i use the 'play now' client, so can't realy cut-and-paste, and i'm sure i'm not the only one.seems (some of?) this stuff is too big to fit in a single comment, so i'm using the same solution as some fanfic-type things i've been involved in here on lj, which is that each part should begin in a comment and each part after should be as a reply to the part before it. subject is, ideally, the same as the achaean title of the work. (e.g. 'apocrypha') i bothered to label each part, but that's probably not really needed, although since achaea divides this stuff into pages, it does make sense that we keep a page as one body if possible; i doubt putting 2 pages into a single comment is really a good idea.EDIT: ah, i forgot to resubject one chapter. well, the text is the same as one of my chars whose copy passed muster.. but that WAS a long time ago. update welcome and PLEASE somebody post the codex? | |
