ASDA’A was founded in 2000 as an independent agency. In 2008, WPP acquired a majority-stake in the firm. ASDA’A became an integral part of the Burson-Marsteller global network. After the merger of Cohn & Wolfe and Burson-Marsteller, ASDA’A Burson-Marsteller is now ASDA'A BCW. Today, the Agency employs nearly 200 professionals across seven wholly-owned offices and eleven affiliates in 18 Middle East & North Africa (MENA) countries. The Agency now serves more than 100 retained clients in the region and is the leading PR consultancy in MENA.

- Our recent META Town Hall marked a pivotal moment as we continue our journey towards becoming #Burson. Guided by Bashar AlKadhi, who will be Burson CEO of Middle East, Turkey and Africa, and joined by Corey duBrowa, soon to be CEO of Burson Global, and AnnaMaria DeSalva, who will be Chairman of Burson Global, we celebrated our regional achievements and delved into our tangible and exciting progress towards the upcoming merger. A huge thank you to everyone who participated and added depth to our discussion. The energy was palpable, and it’s clear we are all invigorated for the opportunities that lie ahead as we forge a new path together.

As we continue to unite H&K and BCW teams around the world, we celebrated our fully integrated office in Abu Dhabi. Bashar AlKadhi, CEO of H&K EMEAx, welcomed the teams for breakfast, and the opportunity to connect and share the excitement for the future of #Burson - We are thrilled that the 15th ASDA'A BCW Arab Youth Survey has been shortlisted in three categories at the PRWeek Global Awards 2024. The survey is the region’s most-awarded thought leadership platform, offering insights into the hopes, attitudes, and aspirations of the region’s largest demographic: its over 200 million youth. The winners will be announced on 15 May 2024.
- As we begin to unite H&K and BCW teams across the globe, our UAE colleagues took the opportunity to meet for the first time over Iftar.
