Yuffie: Sorry about the lack of response in our thread. I just can't think of where else to go. (Ok, so I'm lazy and don't feel like picking food and then eating it, but that's besides the point...!) We can just say they had some more fun then parted on good terms? Eheh. But! I'm more than willing to start up something else, something new, something fun and exciting? XDTifa: *Pokes*Kadaj: Hey! Let's do something again. That's always amusing...! I love our two charries' interactions. Hehehe. They never finished going to the shooting range since the other one took our attention, but... let's find something else to do? Or maybe introduce him to Vincent for a paintball night. Question for the mods ^^; It's really been such a shame to see so many players quit...but, I was wondering if a player can have two characters? If so, I'd like to take on the role of Reno, in addition to Reeve. (I know I haven't been active recently, but there's been a lot of crap going on...it's all overwith now, though, so I've got the time to at the very least post SOMETHING once or twice a week...) A-con fun-ness~! <3 Rufus just posted that he'll be going to Kalm on business. Well, so yes, he'll be gone for the weekend. As a matter of fact, the whole reason behind this is because I'll be gone (out-of-town) this weekend.I'm going to an anime convention!!! Yay!! I'm excited. Hehe. It'll be fun! It's my first one to get to go to, so I'm really happy. Anyway, this just means I won't be around starting tomorrow, past the entire weekend, and up to either Monday or Tuesday. Oh my god guys, I suck. I know it. I'm sorry I haven't posted in like ten days (I counted. I am SO sorry, especially to Rufus who I was sceneing with!). But I was SERIOUSLY struggling with calculus, and my parents were really, really angry with me. And basically, I just wasn't allowed hardly any computer access. But everything's good now, and I should be able to jump right back in. Again, I am very sorry and I definitely plan to make it up to all of you over the summer! | _4:05 am_[afterlife_mods] | The who, what, why, and when of triggers. (Please Read) Triggers occur basically when the lifestream takes some damage or is manipulated in some fashion. It is basically a “slip” of control from the lifestream as it is attempting to suppress knowledge of characters’ pasts in order to prevent the previous battles and near destruction of before. The planet is, in effect, actively withholding characters’ pasts from them so that they cannot use that knowledge to possibly act maliciously toward Gaia.Interference from Marough is what causes these slips of control from Gaia, and that is why the triggers occur. Without Marough messing with the lifestream, then Gaia would continue to keep a firm hold on the past, and there would be no way within this universe for characters to access their past life information (or, at least, no reason for them to attempt to, generally speaking). I'm sorry, everyone! Life's been really hectic lately. One of my best friends got kicked out of her house, so she moved in with me, then she got into a car accident, then her boyfriend got into an accident and had to be flown to a hospital and... oi. It's been hectic. Hence why I've been scarce. >_<I'll be gone this weekend to visit my dad, but after that, I should be back and ready to be active again. She's fine, he's fine, and it looks like things are settling down again.fear_darknation, once_a_hero -- I'm really sorry. I'll reply to your posts as soon as I can. ._.Once again, I'm so sorry! MOD POST (Please Read!) It has come to my attention that some things are being slipped under the radar of what is and is not currently allowed.Memories and past thoughts along with physical and misc other changes work around Marough and what she does. Therefore, if there is NOT a trigger for it? It's not allowed in the game.Triggers so far:_1. Vague dreams, mostly unremembered on waking.2. Very mild deja vu._If something has slipped by up until now, then you will not be forced to re-write , but UNTIL the trigger happens, anything else done against it or slipped under the wire, no matter what reason you think it is allowed for will be dealt with seriously.More triggers will be coming but until then the two listed are the only ones allowed. No physical changes. (physical done naturally by the person such as dying their hair or piercing their body, etc is allowed within reason. This does not mean though that one can suddenly point out the perfect contact lenses or hair colour for someone if their appearance is different in the rpg than it is in canon) No 'wow I suddenly know how to use a gun and get the bullseye each time', no name knowing if you've never met the person or know someone who does know them. No quotes from the movie and game, and no “visions” or dreams about other’s pasts.Limit Breaks will also be included within Triggers so until then they are NOT available for use.********* MODly Smack down Rules 30 Minute Rule: Once a decision has been made, you have 30 minutes to argue your case. If, once those 30 minutes are up and you have not presented any reason sufficient to change the MODs' minds, the issue is dropped and the decision stands as agreed.If the MODs feel that a point is being pushed, argued, or whined about just for the sake of it, without any real substance being brought to the fore, we reserve the right to end discussion before the 30 minutes has elapsed.The 30 minutes starts upon agreement to discuss the issue.3 Strikes Rule: A player will be given 3 warnings, or strikes, before being ejected from the game. Warnings will be issued for RP rules infractions, character or MOD harassment, GOD-modding, etc. You will be warned when issued a strike, either through AIM chat or e-mail (whichever is most convenient and easiest to reach you). Strikes cannot be removed once they have been acquired. Any infractions from the past are wiped clean but from now on, strikes will be tallied. You will be given a chance to discuss the reason for the strike, and to bring up any evidence or reasoning which may negate the warning in case there are extenuating circumstances of which the MODs are not aware. However, once discussed, MOD decision is final, and the strike may not be argued again.Everyone starts out with no strikes so please don’t be in any hurry to get some.Any other concerns should be brought to the MODs for discussion.
