Jaime F . Jiménez-Fernández

He is an actual PhD candidate in the field of Philological Studies: English Language and Culture. His research is mainly devoted to British literature of World War I with a special emphasis on women and their production. He is currently researching about the re-conceptualization of pacifism, the efforts of British pacifist women during the Great War and the demythification of old-fashioned stereotypes imposed upon both the movement and its members, especially women. He is also a member of the research group “Escritoras y escrituras” (HUM753) at the University of Seville and of the “Asociación Española de Estudios Anglo-Norteamericanos” (AEDEAN).
He holds a Degree in English Studies (specialized in literature) from the University of Seville (Spain) and two Masters' Degree; one in English Linguistics, Literature and Culture by the University of Seville and another in Education-teaching by the International University of La Rioja (UNIR).
He also spent an Erasmus year at the Manchester Metropolitan University (academic year of 2014-2015).
