Purpose: To determine whether early active mobilization after tibialis posterior transfer for foot drop have a higher rate of tendon insertion pullout or not or is there any reduce rehabilitation time for Active Dorsiflexion, Plantar Flexion, Active Total Ankle Dorsiflexion. Methods: This study was conducted at Leprosy Home and Hospital, Cuttack, Odisha which is a leprosy reconstructive surgery center, from October 2015 to September 2017. We performed a tendon transfer for foot drop correction in 49 Patients with Hansen's disease with irreversible common peroneal nerve paralysis of more than one-year duration. The cases were followed up for at least one year. Result: There is no incident of insertion pullout of the transferred tendon in any of the patients and having good outcome. Conclusion: In Hansen disease early, active tendon transfer is feasible and safe method with no added risk of tendon pull out. There is earlier restoration of independent walking with early mobilization with reduction of total cost and loss of work for patients.

The main etiological factors behind liver transplantation are congenital liver defect. The American Liver Foundation published a 'Pediatric Liver Research Agenda which advocate that a better understanding of embryonic liver development would provide important insights into treatment and preventive strategies for pediatric liver disease. The present study aims to see the detail histogenesis and development of human liver in prenatal period.

The Bronchial buds undergo repeated division to form bronchial tubes that differentiate into different parts of intrapulmonary bronchial tree. In earlier weeks of Gestation Mesenchymal tissue are more. Developing Duct lined by Cubical Epithelium, Acini and Blood vessels are visible. Developing Bronchus lined with Pseudo stratified columnar ciliated epithelium surrounded by hyaline cartilage. In High Power Bronchus surrounded by hyaline variety of cartilage which extend into lobar and segmented bronchus. But cartilage actually appear in 4 th Week. Terminal bronchiole is developing with acini packed with cells are seen. In high power bronchus is thick walled and bronchiole is thin walled lined by epithelium. Multiple acini packed with cells are seen. Ducts were having tubular lumen. Well-developed hyaline variety of cartilage surrounded by pieces of bronchus. Bronchiole was visible. Acini are packed with cells. In later weeks of Gestation Bronchus with cartilage on High power. Bronchioles and acini are visible. Mucosal glands are developed on bronchial wall. Bronchioles were having simple columnar non-ciliated epithelium infolding. Mucosal glands were developed on wall of bronchiole. Bronchiole and Bronchi are in between well-developed septae and blood vessels were seen to be developing. Lymphatic element normally developed. Bronchioles were having low columnar to cuboidal epithelium. Serous acini was increased. Respiratory bronchiole and alveoli were increased. Each terminal bronchi were dividing into respiratory bronchiole which were seen to be dividing into alveoli.

Four types of bone cells are present-osteoprogenitor cells, osteoblasts, osteocytes & osteoclasts. The bones are arranged in Haversian system or secondary osteons, which consists of central Haversian canal surrounded by concentric lamellae of bony tissue. These Haversian canals or the canals of Havers are in direct communication with medullary cavity also communicate with the surface of bone via Volkmann's canal. Bone ossification in human foetuses is not widely studied. The information on primates is considered for comparison. In the present study attempts have been made to study the long bone ossification pattern in aborted human foetus between gestational ages 10 weeks to 32 weeks of gestation by Alcian Blue stain. The stages of cartilage transformation to bones are seen in six stages. The present study was aimed to evidence the human foetus long bones ossification at various weeks of gestation. The emanated information may enrich the existing global information on human foetuses ossification. From each foetus of different gestational weeks longitudinal and transverse sections of 7 long bones (clavicle, humerus, radius, ulna, femur, tibia, and fibula) were taken into study. All of them were stained by Alcian Blue stain.

Topical anti-microbial agent is an effective way to decrease to bacteria load in burns patients traditionally silver sulfadiazine is used as topical agents but now newer nano silver colloid preparations are more efficient in this regards. Materials and Methods: 40 patients divided two groups (each groups consisting 20 patients) one group used silver sulfadiazine and other groups used nano silver colloid agent tropically as antimicrobial agent. Results of the both the groups are compared using statistical analysis Results: Nano silver colloid are more efficient in treatment of pediatric Second degree Burn associated with less pain. Conclusion: Nanosilver colloid preparations are an effective alternative in treatment of 2 nd degree burns in pediatric patients.

The male Gonads or Testes are embryologically derived from "Mesoderm" except for Primordial germ ... more The male Gonads or Testes are embryologically derived from "Mesoderm" except for Primordial germ cells giving rise to spermatogonia which are derived from epiblast. The true sources are the mesothelium lining the posterior abdominal wall, underlying mesenchyme & Primordial germ cells. The gross changes occurring during development of male gonads are studied in much more detail as compared to histological changes therefore very few studies available on the same. One of the defining characteristic features of the living beings is their ability to continue the progeny which is emphatically the function of the testis with an additional course of endocrine function in human species. The present prenatal study of histogenesis of human foetal testis is carried out to know the occurrence of various cell populations like germ cells, Leydig cells, Sertoli cells and peritubular cells at different gestational periods. 10 aborted male human foetuses between 8-26 weeks of gestational age with no obvious congenital anomalies were obtained for study.

Many researchers have previously considered the measurement and degree of ossification of long bones in human foetal limbs in correlation to the Crown Rump Length (CRL). In vivo measurements by radiological or ultrasound techniques have been used to evaluate lengths of both whole long bones (Total Length, TL) and their ossified parts (Ossified Length OL). Earlier data was mainly considered in small vertebrates around the world which showed significant difference with human foetuses. There are several factors which influence the process of ossification. These data of earlier studies were relevant in abroad but no studies till now is done on this geographical eastern region of India, particularly Odisha. In the present study attempts have been made to study the long bone ossification pattern in aborted human foetus between gestational ages 6 weeks to 36 weeks of gestation. The foetuses were studied by Alizarin Red S & then correlated by doing radiological study (X-ray).
