Class Publishing uses Salesforce to store user data for our apps. Salesforce offers a secure, resilient contact data management system. Their compliance includes ISO27001, 27017, 27018. As of October 2023, we will be using Spanning to provide us with backup of our data in Salesforce. Details of Spanning’s security provisions are available here: https://spanning.com/data-protection-security/

JRCALC Plus, ParaPass and ParaFolio

Class Publishing are the developers for JRCALC Plus, ParaPass and ParaFolio. Aimer Media is part of Class Publishing. Data is held by Amazon Web Services in the UK. Information about the security processes of AWS is available here: https://aws.amazon.com/security/

The following security provisions for the apps are in place:

• All access between the app and server is over SSL
• Params between the app and server are secured using HMAC
• The server runs on AWS EC2 access via SSH and using SSH private key
• The database (mySQL) runs on AWS RDS, located in London. Access from the server is over SSL and RDS limited by inbound security setting on AWS
