Children should not learn mear the concepts, should learn how to learn by thinking critically and using information creatively. Once the mind administered in the process in turn it yields automatically the product. In this context ,it has been analyzed that instead of the environmental values have been inculcating through school curricula in the form of knowledge, it must be imparted through the compulsory activities as supplementary to the science subject by means of the process skills such as observing, classifying, communicating, measuring, estimating, reasoning, predicting, inferring, identifying, controlling variables, defining operationally, hypothesizing, experimenting, graphing, interpreting, modelling and investigation as per the level of the students. The qualitative method and Interpretative Phenomenological Analysis (IPA) were employed as the research approach, utilizing in-depth semi-structured interviews. Purposive sampling was used to select 11 participants from the state of Kerala, India, in higher education. Data analysis followed the Systematic Text Consideration (STC), a five-step process, including framing meaning units, condensing meaning units, coding, creating sub-themes, and deriving themes. By exploring themes aligned with the UTAUT2 constructs, a comprehensive understanding of the factors influencing student engagement and support was achieved. A total of eight themes were identified, encompassing “Effectiveness and Limitations,” “Beyond,” “Enrichment,” “Optimization,” “Synergize,” “Streamlining Communication,” “Engage+AI,” and “Refine.” These themes provided compelling evidence of the tra...

This increasing awareness needs to be met with equal enthusiasm for empirical investigation into the understanding on the identification and dealing the needs of this group of students. The purpose of this article is to provide a comprehensive summary through a critical analysis of the upper primary school teachers' understanding in identifying twice-exceptionalityamong their students. A phenomenological approach served as a method of the present investigation with an instrument semi structured interview employed over nine participants handling upper primary classes inMalappuram district,Kerala. The critical analysis on the responses led the researchers to infer themes that indicate the understanding of upper primary teachers from Mankkada educational district of Malappuram district and evolved a model of understanding on the twice-exceptionality. Scholars can extrapolate from this summary a research agenda that will move the field forward in the pursuit of empirically validated identification and intervention techniques with twice-exceptional learners. Educators as well encouraged using this information when developing gifted identification protocols in schools, accommodation plans for twice-exceptional students, and interventions that target specific strength and growth areas. Finally, parents of twice-exceptional learners also can refer the summarized empirical studies like this as they search for research-based approaches which helping their child.

A simple and accurate system of cataract classification using slit lamp and direct ophthalmoscope... more A simple and accurate system of cataract classification using slit lamp and direct ophthalmoscope is reported. Lens opacities are classified into cortical (anterior and posterior), nuclear and posterior sub-capsular and each sub-type of opacity is graded, extent and density wise, using both slit lamp and direct ophthalmoscope. A circle representing enface view of opacity divided into 100 equal parts is used in calculating the area of each opacity. This classification takes into account both the area and depth of opacity in arriving at the total extent of sub-type of each opacity. For density determination, we do not recommend the use of a resolution target projection ophthalmoscope. Intra-observer and inter-observer variability studies using this classification system indicated that the classification system is fairly reliable.

Although the video was very funny, there is a message behind. Yes, it is an adaptation towards the technology. The technological revolution has driven a fundamental shift in our understanding of pedagogy and its related practices. Traditionally, the teaching did not require that the instructor also to be a learner, only to be an expert. But, now the teachers must work and manipulate a lot than the learners for each and every lesson. Pedagogically speaking, cognitive and constructivist learning theories serve as anchors in the design process of our automated learning environments. These theories define the role of the learner differently from the behaviourist model, where the student is seen as a funnel and the teacher, the information donor. Thanks to the constructivists and cognitive scientists for having contributed a lot to integrate content and pedagogy to the technology. Yes, we are going to discuss about the topic Techno Pedagogy.
