Öz Oyun çeşitli kaynaklarda " iyi vakit geçirmeye yarayan eğlence" olarak tanımlanmaktadır. Ancak... more Öz Oyun çeşitli kaynaklarda " iyi vakit geçirmeye yarayan eğlence" olarak tanımlanmaktadır. Ancak yapılan araştırmalarda oyunun, çocuğun fiziksel, duygusal, bilişsel ve sosyal yönden gelişimini desteklediği belirlenmiştir. Bu düşünceden hareketle oyun öğrenme-öğretme etkinlikleri içerisinde eğitim sistemimizde yer almıştır. Bu araştırmada ilkokulda eğitsel oyunlar tekniğinin öğretimde kullanılmasına ilişkin öğretmen görüşlerinin incelenmesi amaçlanmıştır. İlkokul öğretmenlerinin eğitsel oyun tekniklerini derslerde kullanma durumları, hangi amaçlarla kullandıkları, oyun seçiminde nelere dikkat ettikleri, hangi tür oyunlara daha çok yer verdikleri nitel araştırma yöntemlerinden olgubilim deseni ile incelenmeye çalışılmıştır. Araştırma 2016-2017 eğitim-öğretim yılında Ankara İli, Nallıhan İlçesinde gerçekleştirilmiştir. Çalışma gurubunu amaçlı örnekleme yöntemlerinden kolay ulaşılabilir durum örneklemesi yöntemi ile ulaşılabilen ilkokulda görevli 10 sınıf öğretmeni oluşturmaktadır. Nitel olarak tasarlanan araştırmada verilerin toplanması için yapılandırılmış görüşme tekniğinden yararlanılmıştır. Araştırmadan elde edilen sonuçlar; öğretmenlerin eğitsel oyunları derslerde aktif olarak kullanmaya çalıştıklarını, oyunla çocuğun derse aktif katıldığını, yaparak yaşayarak öğrendiklerini, kalıcı öğrenme sağlandığını ve derslerin eğlenceli hale geldiğini düşündüklerini, tercih etmelerindeki amaçlarının derse katılımı arttırmak, davranış ka-Şule Kırbaş & Gülsüm Koparan Girgin zandırmak ve kazanılan davranışı pekiştirmek, sosyalleşme, hoşgörü, hakkını arama, iletişim, sorumluluk gibi yetenekleri geliştirmek olduğunu ortaya koymuştur. Eğitsel oyunları tercih ederken seviye ve konuya uygunluğa, zaman ekonomisine, eğitici ve eğlendirici olmasına dikkat ettikleri görülmüştür. En çok dikkat geliştirici, stratejik oyunlar, kelime oyunları, evcilik, geleneksel çocuk oyunlarını tercih ettikleri ve değerlendirmede sorun yaşamadıkları belirlenmiştir.

This study aims to examine the 'values education' given in middle-school physical education and s... more This study aims to examine the 'values education' given in middle-school physical education and sports courses in terms of several variables. The research group consists of a total of 1600 students (795 female, and 805 male), studying in 16 central middle-schools (100 students from each school) affiliated to Tokat Provincial Directorate of National Education in 2018-2019 academic year. "Physical Education and Sports Course Value Scale" was used as a data collection tool. As data analysis in research; demographic variables were evaluated in frequency and percentage. Normality assumptions of the sub-dimensions were examined through the Kolmogorov-Smirnov test. Mann-Whitney test was used in the analysis of categorical variables whose level of sub-dimensions was 2. Kruskal-Wallis test was used for variables with more than 2 levels. The level of significance is set at 0.05. Middle-school students' value mean scores for "Sports Culture" was determined as X = 13.4625, "Healthy Life and Nutrition" value mean score was X = 9.2056, "Solidarity" value mean score was X = 7.9425, "Respect" value mean score was X=12.8294, "National Culture and Unity" value mean score was X = 22.2819, and "Awareness" value mean score was X = 32.4688. Significant differences were determined between the students' value scores according to their gender, class, doing-not doing sports status, and family income levels. This study had determined that the students' value scores for physical education and sports course were high. It was observed that female students generally had higher value scores than male students, and their value scores decreased as their grade level increased. It has been determined that students who do sports have higher value scores compared to students who do not do sports, and as students' families income increases, their value scores also increase. According to the findings, it may be said that Physical Education and Sports Course has a very important and effective role in gaining values.

The aim of the study is to examine the relationship between physical activity level and life qual... more The aim of the study is to examine the relationship between physical activity level and life quality in the personnel of the Provincial Directorate of Youth and Sports. Population of the study consisted of 190 individuals working in the Amasya Provincial Directorate of Youth and Sports while sample consisted of 135 individuals, 29 women and 106 men, who voluntarily participated in the study. Short form of IPAQ (International Physical Activity Evaluation Survey) was employed to determine the level of physical activity while Short Form-36 Life Quality Evaluation Survey was used to determine the level of life quality among the participants. Body mass index (BMI) was calculated by using height and weight formula. In the analysis of the data, Statistical Package for the Social Sciences 20 package program was used. Significance level was accepted as p 0c05). Also, it was determined that physical activity level and life quality did not differ by variables of sex, age, education, status and marital status (p>0.05). When all variables are considered, it can be stated that 48.9 % of the personnel are active at a minimum level and their life qualities are good with scores ranging from 65 to 81. In conclusion, importance of regular physical activity for health is increasing every day. In this respect, necessary conditions should be satisfied in both working and social environments so that individuals can choose an exercise they like and perform this exercise at the frequency, level and interval suitable for the purpose of the individual.

This study was carried out to determine the nutritional knowledge of adolescents engaged in sport... more This study was carried out to determine the nutritional knowledge of adolescents engaged in sports at the high school level in the central schools in Şanlıurfa. Sample of study was 495 students randomly selected who are engaged in sports in 4 high schools in Şanlıurfa. Verbal consent of the participants and institution permit were taken for the study. Nutrition Knowledge Scale for Adolescents (NKSA) was used for data collection and Statistical Package for the Social Sciences (SPSS) 23 package was used for data analysis. Descriptive statistics, independent samples t-test, one-way analysis of variance, Turkey Honest Significant Difference (HSD) test and Games-Howell test were used to evaluate the data. In the analysis, Type I error margin was accepted as 0.05.No significant difference was found in the average scores of nutrition knowledge levels in gender, age, sport type-duration, number of family members, body mass index (BMI) (p> 0.05). A significant difference was found when the school type and income level variables of the participants were examined (p <0.001). It was found that approximately 65% of the students have low level of nutritional knowledge. As a result, it was determined that the majority of the participants in our study had low nutritional knowledge and that income levels and school type affect the level of knowledge. In this respect, it is thought that seminars, which will be organized in cooperation with gym teachers aiming to increase the nutritional knowledge of young people in schools and clubs will be beneficial.

Bu araştırma ortaöğretim kurumlarında yaşanan şiddet olaylarının nedenlerini ve şiddeti engelleme... more Bu araştırma ortaöğretim kurumlarında yaşanan şiddet olaylarının nedenlerini ve şiddeti engellemede spor aktivitelerinin rolünü, öğrencilerin görüşleri doğrultusunda tespit etmek ve çözüm önerileri getirmek amacıyla hazırlanmıştır. Amasya İli merkezindeki 12 ortaöğretim kurumundan okul türleri dikkate alınarak 5 okulda öğrenim gören 3279 öğrenci çalışma evreni olarak alınmıştır. Bu evrenden random (tesadüf) yöntemiyle 328 öğrenci örneklem olarak seçilmiştir. Araştırma nitel bir çalışma olup, verilerin değerlendirilmesinde istatistiksel olarak frekans (f) ve yüzde (%) değerlerden yararlanılmıştır. Araştırma sonuçları şiddete neden olabilecek birçok faktörü ortaya koymuştur. Bunlardan özellikle; televizyon programları, genel eğitim eksikliği, ailede eğitim eksikliği, okullarda rehberlik hizmetlerindeki yetersizlikler ve kız-erkek arkadaşlığı gibi nedenler sayılabilir. Sonuçlar bize, şiddete eğilimi olan gençlerin spora ilgi düzeylerinin ve okul başarı düzeylerinin düşük olduğunu göstermektedir. Ayrıca ders içerikleri ve ders dışı spor etkinliklerinin de gençlerin beklentilerine yeteri kadar yanıt verebilecek düzeyde olmadığı anlaşılmıştır. Okullarda şiddetin önlenebilmesi için, ailelere, gençlere ve eğitimcilere yönelik sistemli eğitim programları düzenlenmelidir. Aynı zamanda okullarda çocukları olumlu yönde rahatlatacak, onların serbest zamanlarını en iyi şekilde değerlendirebileceği ilgi-ihtiyaçlarına yönelik sportif ve diğer sosyal etkinliklere daha fazla yer verilmeli ve bunun için gereken fiziksel şartlar oluşturulmalıdır.

Tarama modeli kullanilan calismanin evrenini 2014-2015 Egitim Ogretim yilinda Amasya ilinde ogrenim goren 14-18 yas arasi erkek lise ogrencileri olusturmaktadir. Orneklemi ise yabanci dil agirlikli akademik liselerde(41), guzel sanatlar lisesinde(71), meslek liselerinde(97) ve spor lisesinde ogrenim goren(58) 267 erkek ogrenciden olusmaktadir. Gonulluluk esasina gore katilan ogrencilerden kisisel bilgi formu ile edinilen veriler SPSS 15 paket program ile analiz edilmistir. Elde edilen sonuclara gore katilimcilarin %21.72’si sigara kullandiklarini, %78.28’i ise kullanmadiklarini belirtmistir. The study used the phenomenological design, which is among qualitative research designs. The study group comprised 63 academicians carrying out duty in 21 different universities in Turkey during the 2019-2020 academic year. In line with the goal, the study was carried out with academicians who could contribute on voluntary basis. In order to determine the views of the academicians, a structured interview form was used.
