amouretterie [/a.mu.ʁɛt.(ə)ʁi/] nf: a collection of passing fancies

L'Amourette, en français, means "temporary attachment, exempt from passion and readily superficial". In short, a "passing fancy".

Most of the time, my journals are exactly that, so I thought, what better name to give to a medium where I display my current "fancies"?

The suffix -erie is used in French to name a place, point out a quality, or describe a collection.

Amouretterie is not a real word, but I think it describes the function of this journal perfectly.

At the moment, I will use this spot for my humble attempts at photography. I have no formal training, but recently find myself craving desperately to take pictures. My writings can be found at mitarosari.
