Anyone in America can help AmpleHarvest.org end food waste and hunger
Help enable gardeners to donate fresh produce to a local food pantry. While we of course accept donations, you don’t have to have a lot of money to make a difference!
Make a Donation
A generous tax deductible contribution to AmpleHarvest.org, large or small, can go a long way toward impacting hunger in America. Your contribution goes directly towards the work of alleviating food insecurity and will help to reduce hunger, food waste, obesity, diabetes and hypertension, while enabling millions of Americans to help their neighbors in need.

Share on social, write a blog post, tell your neighbor. Every action helps!
More Ways to Help
Ask a food pantry in your community to sign up. It's free!
Find the food pantry in your community, possibly in a nearby house of worship, a YMCA or other civic location. Give them this flier and urge them to register. Let them know they don’t need extra refrigeration and that AmpleHarvest.org is totally FREE!

Get your community involved!
We have fliers available for community gardens, farmers markets, and local houses of worship (Christian, Jewish, Muslim versions). Reach out to civic leaders, clergy and others, and ask them to pass the word too. Encouragement from a political leader or in a sermon can have far reaching benefits. Student groups, scout troops, and other social and service organizations can also help spread the word to gardeners and other donors, both locally and nationwide.
Help us recruit Gardeners
Print this two sided flier "Informing the Gardener" and post it in local garden shops, nurseries, supermarket bulletin boards, hardware stores, garden centers in “big box” stores, libraries, social halls, and houses of worship to help gardeners learn about the opportunity to help the hungry.

Are you a home gardener? A farmer? Someone who grows herbs on a kitchen window? Do you grow more than you can use, preserve or give to friends? Share it! Next time you have a special event, use fruit instead of flowers for the centerpieces and donate the remaining fruit. In the winter, buy items on sale from grocery stores and donate.
