Super easy to put together
Great little desk, and refreshingly easy to put together. It was literally only 3 steps. The top with the drawer comes assembled, so all you have to do is attach the legs (4 bolts each), attach the cross bar (4 bolts) and put the knob on the drawer. Done! Seems pretty sturdy too! I bought 2 one prime day and very happy I did!

I wanted a sleek, modern & simple design that is also elegant. And I couldn't be more pleased with how this desk looks in my bedroom! Although I already have a home office with an L-return desk, there are times when I just want to sit at a desk in my bedroom to journal in the early morning. And so I purchased this desk for that very purpose. I stored my favorite make-up in the front drawer that is easy to slide out. There are two pockets on both the left and right sides, which keeps the clutter off the desk surface and out of sight. I placed shallow bins inside these pockets so that I can keep little things organized inside the bins, and pull them out as needed. The top surface of the desk is a smooth finish that will not become damaged by spilled water. The assembly was very simple. It came with the drawer already pre-assembled to the desktop. The only thing I had to do was attach the two legs and the supporting bar that goes across both legs. You won't have to worry about using a screw-driver or a drill. Every piece is assembled with an allen wrench which is also included in the package. The legs are sturdy and made of metal. And the desk came properly packaged with extra protection around the edges of the box so that there will be no dings or damages to the desk itself. If you are looking for a stylish desk for writing or for make-up, I highly recommend this desk.

The red is a bit more maroon, but it is VERY sturdy (the legs are actually metal and the colors match, something often a problem with MDF and metal parts) and was very easy to put together. Compact yet with open sides and holes to bring cables up through, it is a surprisingly versatile desk for something so simple in appearance.

A slim and solid desk

This desk was easy to put together. The top is heavy, so when flipping the desk over after putting the legs on, it works better with two people. I have a very narrow space for a desk. This desks fits with a little wiggle room to slide it closer to the wall between a bookshelf and my bed. The first time I ordered this desk it arrived damaged. I returned it and the replacement desk is perfect and it shipped fast too! I have arthritic hands and with the hex tool this was easy for me to put together. The side cubbies are perfect for plugging in and storing electronic devices. There is an opening on the button to easy pull plugs through it. The drawer glides smoothly and it's a deep drawer as well. My mom saw the desk and now she wants one as well.
Oh one thing, just make to pay attention to which direction the legs are facing when you put them on. The first time I made a mistake and accidently put them on with the foot pad facing the front. It was easy to unscrew the bolts and flip the legs around correctly.

So I had very mixed emotions about this desk when I first opened the box... at first glance, I thought wow, this is going to be so easy!! The desk looked a little smaller than I wanted but it’s the exact style I like so I began to put it together. I was caught off guard that the legs were metal but it doesn’t bother me so I continued. The drawer came already inside the top of the desk but without the front piece on. HOWEVER THEY GOT THIS DRAWER IN THERE I COULD NOT GET IT OUT FOR THE LIFE OF ME. The top box part comes preconstructed so I had to deconstruct the top to get the drawer out. It was really stuck in there and not properly in there to where I could put the front piece on at all. So that added to the work of this desk. Was a bit frustrated at this point. Also, I was not happy that one of the screws must have been knocked out upon delivery and it caused the hole to tear (two screws come in the wood already which I think is weird.) anyways, once I tackled those hurdles, and GLUED the screw back into the hole that was torn because it would no longer tighten with just the screw, it was smooth sailing from there. I think it looks great for the money. I also bought a new little knob to give it its own look. Overall I am happy!!

Great secure packaging. Very easy to assemble. Like 3-5 minutes easy. It is sturdy and looks great. We are using it in our master bedroom to spice up the area below our tv on the wall. It looks great and holds al the components right in top and can also function like a desk as intended! 😜

Sturdy and easy to put together

I am 68 and had no trouble putting it together. It only took me about 20 minutes. The tool comes with it and all the hardware. It was heavier than it looked. It is very sturdy and not a scratch on it - well packaged. Plenty of space in the drawer for lots of stuff and more space on the ends for paper, notebooks, etc.

I was initially hesitant to purchase this based on some of the negative reviews, however I am happy I purchased this desk. It is sturdy and was easy to put together by myself. It's the perfect size, and fits all my essentials (laptop / monitor / lamp). The cords are mostly hidden away by the compartments. Very happy with this purchase!

What a piece of garbage. The drawer was so broken we couldn’t even open it and the back screws were busted threw the partial board wood. I bought it because someone’s review said it was metal and it is not, it is cheap partial board. What a hassle to return too.
