Height adjustment is a nice touch for this solid desk. Be aware that the height adjustment requires a plan and measuring, because it is not easy to change once set in place. But once you get it installed the way you like it, this is a durable work surface and nice overall solid desk.

A few design issues!

I ordered two of these to replace a couple of traditional fixed-height desks. First, the materials... The desktop itself is of decent quality and finish. -- Better than than cheap particle-board I'm accustomed to seeing everywhere. The base itself leaves something to be desired. Both desks arrived with a few dings to the cord tray, wasn't a big deal to me since I won't see it. However, the real issue with this piece is the design of the base itself. According to the specs on "School Outfitters" (Learniture's website doesn't have much info but instead refers you to this site) this particular desk is rated for 200lbs evenly distributed. I find that a little hard to swallow. I've got less than half of that and the whole desktop flexes (75-80lbs). The stability isn't great due to the offset single-leg design. It really could have used a second leg equidistant from the center (or more rigid material). Otherwise, for light loading it should be fine. I probably would have returned it since it didn't quite work out for me, but the shipping boxes were so badly beaten that I'll probably end up keeping them. Overall, not a terrible product, but you definitely need to consider how heavy you plan to load this thing.
