Great cutter
Wow. I absolutely love this pizza cutter. The weight is heavy, but not too heavy. Cuts fast and even with little effort. I am a firm believer in all things Kitchenaid. When I saw this I knew I had to order. I make many homemade pizza and broke my no name cutter in no time flat. I'm positive this one will last a long while. Well worth the money.

I'm not often excited when I buy a kitchen utensil but this KitchenAid Pizza Wheel/Cutter is about as good as it gets. As soon as I opened the box and removed the cutter from the packaging, I was in love. It had the most substantial, in the hand feel that I've ever experienced with a pizza cutter. I should mention that I worked in a pizza shop for several years and we had cutters with 4" wheels and wooden handles. They were OK but this is even better. The wheel itself is super sharp and substantial. It's not going to ever go out of round. What is also overlooked in the majority of pizza cutters on the market is the lack of nut to tighten the blade if need be. Most cutters uses a cheap rivet to hold the wheel and they eventually loosen up causing the blade to wobble. Not so with the KitchenAid pizza wheel... it has a nut that can be tightened when necessary.
The handle is nicely designed with a finger guard on the bottom and a nice indentation for your thumb to rest on the top. It is solid and heavy, both good qualities to have when slicing through a thick or crispy crust.
KitchenAid used to make this cutter with a 4" wheel. It does not seem to be available any more. I'd have preferred to buy a 4" wheel pizza cutter since it makes cutting the pizza a bit more efficient but I'm not complaining. This 3" wheel excels since it has the sharpness and heft to get the job done.
You can pay nearly as much for a vastly inferior pizza cutter. Why not just get the best one right off the bat? With proper care it will surely last for years and years.

I LOVE this pizza cutter! It is sharp, it is sturdy, it works! It doesn’t wiggle and jiggle and threaten to break or otherwise harm you or your pizza while cutting. It simply cuts smoothly and cleanly as if it knows what it is supposed to be doing. I don’t dread cutting pizza anymore and I love the blade protector on it.
Others complain that it rusts. I mean really. . . DON’T PUT IT IN THE DISHWASHER! Simply wash it and dry it (as recommended). If that is too much work for you to buy this fabulous pizza cutter, I don’t even want to taste your pizza.

This pizza cutter is solid, very sturdy. The handle is thick, the wheel is thick and sharp. The wheel does not wobble. I purchased this to cut up food really tiny for my baby to pick up and eat, and it cuts though everything. I have cut pizza with it, and that is super easy. I have also cut up vegetables, chicken, beef, pork, potatoes, tomatoes, banana, apples, strawberries, the list goes on and on. For a pizza cutter, this is awesome, for a baby food machine it is awesome. You will not be disappointed, I have thoroughly tested this pizza cutter on a rock hard cutting board (Corian) and it is not dull. It has been though the dishwasher about 50 times and no problems. The cover for the cutting wheel is still going strong, and it does a nice job of protecting the blade, and your hands when it is in a drawer with other random kitchen stuff.

I have had this product for a few months now and it works great. The weight of it helps slice through items and pizza. We have used this to slice into veggies along with dough. I would say the guard the cutter comes with is a waste as you never know where you put the darn thing. They should have colored it rather than make it clear. But your not really buying this for the guard. I was tired of handles breaking off on other cutters so I decided to spend a little more and get a quality product. I don't plan on returning this anytime soon.

This cutter is made excellent. The problem we feel it's just not sharp enough. We've had cutters from 5.00to5.00 to 5.00to20.00 that went through the pizza with ease, even the crust.. This is more expensive and we thought it would cut right through the toughest pizza. Not so. It has a great feel, good balance, perfect design, but the cutter leaves much to be desired. You really have to lay into it, or push harder, and it sometimes doesn't even do it. Not really sure how to sharpen something like this, normally when a pizza cutter got dull we just threw it out. Maybe we just got a bad one, not sure; it's to expense and nice looking to throw out though...

Love it’s weight. Sturdy, sharp, feels comfortable. Was concerned it’d be too shallow for deep dish but works like a champ! I didn’t know there’d be qualitative differences between cutters—this is the best pizza cutter I’ve ever had and feels study enough that it might be my last. I make sure I dry the bolt immediately to avoid rust.

I have never seen a pizza wheel like this. It is easy to hold and very sturdy. It is also very sharp and cuts with ease. This is definitely revolutionary in comparison to the flimsy ones that I have used in the past that are not very sturdy and sharp. It easily cuts pizza on the first try.

Somehow I broke two old cutters in one week.. they were flimsy and I was too strong... and they were few years old at least.
So I bought this one and wow, what a difference. I like to press down so I can cut pizza in ONE swipe and this works wonderfully. It's heavy duty and feels like it'll last a long time.
Other than the reports of the screw in center of wheel rusting, I cannot see any possible flaw with this. If you hold it like a knife with your fore-finger and thumb in the proper place its very safe and does the job. I also store mine with plastic protective sleeve over blade every time.
So, time will tell....
