Amazon.com : Disney Baby Minnie Mouse Baby Walkers and Activity Center with Music and Lights, Garden Delight : Baby (original) (raw)
For the life of her, my daughter would not walk in this thing. She'd mosey herself backwards sometimes but that was about it. Even when she started walking fo real she still wouldn't walk in this thing. Because of this fact though, it was convenient for when I needed her to stay in one place because I could just put her in it. She used it from 6 months to maybe about a year old (she's now almost 14 months).
PROS:
- Being able to adjust the height? Awesome! Grew with her! And I thought it was easy to adjust.
- Adjusts to be compact and save space! When my daughter wasn't using it I would just make it compact and put it under her swing.
- Minnie Mouse singing ball of awesome? I think yes! My daughter loved the music. I made the mistake of whistling one time, so every time after that when she started the music, she would look at me and expect me to start whistling. High expectations that one has.
CONS:
- Being able to adjust the height? Not awesome if you're Grandma, 'cause apparently my Mom had problems trying to figure out how to make it taller, and how to make it compact.
- Minnie Mouse clicking ball of awesome? Not so awesome! The way the mechanism works, is the button for the music to start playing is below the ball, and when you roll the ball around, there are protruding edges that will CLICK the button down. If your baby gets roll happy, CLICK CLICK CLICK CLICK CLICK. (At least, that's how loud it is in my memory. Might not bother some people. :) )
NEUTRAL:
- You can move the activities away for a snack area, but I never did this. Mainly just put her in it for playtime.
- (This is more of a pro + a con) Pro: I thought the cat activity was a little stupid but apparently it's fun for a baby. Con: Not the sturdiest material and design because we somehow snapped ours off (well, the baby didn't, she's just a tiny human, I think I did it when I was transporting it somewhere).
Overall, worth it.
