Absolutely my favorite book on this subject so far

Absolutely my favorite book on this subject so far

I bought this for myself at Christmas and it is absolutely fantastic. I do have a better than average understanding of plants and herbs and foraging but although a lot of the reviews say it is only good for a beginner I completely disagree. This would be not the best book for someone without a basic knowledge of what plants are. However if you can Google you can figure out where and how to identify each plant so really that is just a matter of common sense. But the thing I really really like about this book is the very comprehensive recipes for the plants...usually more than one; for different purposes. The books I have read previous to this may have been more wordy and heavy on the background and plant variety etc but most don't include good recipes to be able to apply them to your life. Knowledge without application is fruitless. This book is going to get a lot of use from me.
