Hey Yalls,
So yesterday was my first day of the Spring semester 2023, I spent 13hrs on campus and am so proud of myself because I only ate 7 almonds — 49 calories. This morning I weighed in at 148.4 which is better than the mid 150s, but still not even close to being great. I am back on Saxenda for a bit — maybe 3 months, hoping it helps me kick off my weight loss and get me back into a better eating routine. Today my calorie goals today is 600-700, but on campus days (Tues/Thurs) I am aiming for less than 120 cals. I know I can get away with not eating on campus as I hate eating in front of people, and I am constantly engaged with my classes. Im excited with my results and am really trying again. Last year was horrible for my weight loss and I dont want a repeat of gaining weight. My goal is to be around 125-120 by March 10th ready for spring break, that's 51days and I need to lose around 0.5lbs each of those days to reach my goal which is very doable, I think.

OK... so winter break/vacation sucked as there were highs and lows a lot. My mom told me I had a pooch coming back, my sister said in response to me not liking one of the photos taken of me that "no one could really tell Im overweight," and my friend was shocked she could fit into my jeans — said as if no one should ever fit in them like I was some morbidly obese person. Anyway, the Spring semester is about to start on Tuesday, so very nervous because all my clothes are tight, and I feel like a sausage trying to fit into my jeans now. I weighed in today and was a whopping 152.2... ughhhhh. I started my weight loss injection again — Saxenda — I used it in 2020 and lost a nice amount of weight with the injection and very low calories. So that is my plan of action right now, I figured the medication will help me get some control back and kick start my weight loss till I can control it myself and be more self-disciplined. I feel so self-conscious of my body legit just wanting to wear sweatpants and a super baggy hoody so no one can see my chubby body. I am hoping by Tuesday so like 4 days, I'll be about 147 or less. Im sick of being the fat chick at college, so embarrassing.

OK, so m vacation was actually quite nice and I loved seeing my mom and my sisters. HOWEVER, don't like that today I weighed in at 145.6 which is a 6lb gain. The reality is I probs gained 3 lbs or 4 max, but yesterday decided to eat a whole baguette and two 2-Liters of Diet Mountain Dew which I honestly think shot up my weight drastically. I personally never like blaming water weight on weight gain but in this case, I think it did contribute to my gain these past 4 days. I am expecting my weight to even out over the next 3 days to about 141 or 142. Anyway just wanted to update yall on my weight after a wonderful vacation. Planning my annual winter vacation to see my folks down in Florida and that's from 18-29th so yea gotta drop some massive LBs before then because there will be heaps of food.

OMG, I am so proud of my weight loss so far since I have started to plan out weekly meals. I am so pleased to announce that as of this morning I am officially UNDER 140 — weighing in at 139.4!! I am so excited to see I am in the 130s again and that what I am doing seems to be getting me closer to my desired results! I am headed on vacation this Thursday as my dad contacted me this past Monday and offered to take me to a conference. I am excited to see him as he lives in Florida and I live in Kansas and he is flying in to see me this weekend. I am also kinda scared concerning my weight during this weekend as the conference hosts a breakfast gathering, which of course he signed us up for, and I really really would love to stay in the 130s til I am able to get back into my routine of OMAD and being able to track all my foods when I get back home Monday. He is definitely a foodie and loves indulging in new cuisines and restaurant options, so please if you all have any tips or advice to minimize my consumption I'd love to hear from you all!

So today was my first weigh-in this week and I am at 142.8, which is bad that I did gain but not the worse results for a 3-day over eat and it could have been 10x worse. So I ate about 490 calories today had an unexpected lunch with some of my social work peers and felt strong cravings for a sandwich lately so I ate a 6" sandwich. Overall about 190 over my target calories for the day. I am not thrilled with today but also know that I could've easily binged again and didn't so kinda proud but just overall mehh.

OK, so the first 4 days of my meal plan HUGE success — I lost 5.6lbs. I got paid on Friday and needed groceries for the next two weeks. However when I go grocery shopping and recently get paid I kinda get crazy in thinking of what I need. Long- story short, I ended up with more groceries than planned and ate way over my meal plan for the past three days resulting in week 1 only losing 3.4lbs. I binged... it's over... focused on this new week... and am back on my meal plan. I already have meals planned for this week, trying to focus on protein. Last week was mainly carbs so this week is protein themed. With this week I am hoping for a total of 7lbs or more would be great. Coffee is included most days as an option if feeling weak, overly tired, or extremely/excessively dizzy, and only when sleep doesn't do the trick. I took 4 lax around 4.20pm today and might take 3 more if they don't kick in very soon. Trying to start fresh tomorrow, as I overindulged these three days I have no desire in overeating this week. I made a plan to have accountability next trip to the store to prevent overbuying food and sticking to my pre-arranged/approved grocery list to help limit my future intake. Happy Holloween!!

So within 2 days, I have lost 4.2 lbs, this week's goal is to be 139 minimum — 8lb lost. Have 5 more days to lose 3.8lbs to reach this goal and I think it is very attainable. Next week's goal at the end of the week is to be 132. Then from there lose roughly 4-5lbs a week for the following 10 weeks. My goal by the new year is to reach 100lbs. I am extremely motivated by the results so far and haven't been hungry. I'm sticking to a routine of drinking a bottle of water starting at 10am, then eating my meal at 5pm and drinking another water bottle starting at 6. I have been adding Hydroxycut water flavoring to my water to add taste and promote metabolism.
