The topic of the final paper is the development of a project of a URBAN SPA for the city of Campo... more The topic of the final paper is the development of a project of a URBAN SPA for the city of Campos dos Goytacazes in the state of Rio de Janeiro. A SPA is a place for the rest of the body and mind.The word SPA means health of the water. Europeans spas are engaged in healing and health, the americans engaged in beauty and aesthetics, and the brazilians accompany the American. It's described in this paper through a literature review, the theoretical concepts of SPA, its origin and evolution, types and correlations with relaxation, health and beauty. This topic was chosen due to the need in the world we live in today, of a good living space that offers the opportunity for relaxation and stress relief from everyday stresses caused by the urban lifestyle of great responsibilities and many compromises. To keep pace in a big city, nothing better than to bring the comforts of a SPA, to be located only in areas further away from the big cities, into the city. The proposed deployment of a Urban SPA justified by the absence of a facility of this kind in the North Fluminense region that meets the immediate need for a short time any citizen transient.
