Enako took to Twitter to let the fans into this little surprise as well as to express her love for this manga.

In the ‘Weekly Shonen Magazine’ released today, I was invited to the cosplay gravure commemorating the final episode of ‘Bakemonogatari’!It’s been my favorite work ever since I was a student, so as an otaku, I was really happy…😭✨ I did my best with the makeup and wig, so please take a look!,” she tweeted.

Born in Nagoya prefecture in Japan in 1994, Enako started cosplaying in second year of middle school after she became interested in the animated series The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya and saw other cosplayers portraying the main character in Akihabara.

She later became a regular at Comiket and other conventions. In 2016, Enako had revealed that she earned around a million yen in a month. She started a YouTube channel in 2021, and became a member of an idol group, PPE41 in 2022.

Bakemonogatari is a Japanese manga series illustrated by Oh! great, based on the Monogatari light novel series written by Nisio Isin. It was serialized in Kodansha’s magazine Weekly Shonen Magazine from March 2018 to March 2023, with its chapters collected and published in 20 tankobon volumes as of January 2023.

As of August 2020, Bakemonogatari had over 2.4 million copies in circulation.

Unlike the novels, Oh!great decided to include the Kizumonogatari in between the Nadeko Snake and Tsubasa Cat arcs, explaining that this would help people sympathize more with Hanekawa.
