A method has been suggested called as a shrew attack protection model that isolates attackers and identifies victims by keeping track of their drop rates and admit those packets which are having high priority for the queue. Shrew Attack Protection (SAP) has previously been demonstrated using network simulator ensuring the TCP sessions retain their bandwidth shares. In this paper the implementation of shrew attack model is done with router and switches and the results are analyzed to validate the performance of improvement of bandwidth after network attack.

The advancement in technology has increased the hazards in traffic and road accidents taking place frequently causes loss of life and property this is due to lack of emergency and help facilities . Our paper provides a solution to this disadvantage. When an accident occurs immediately the vibration sensor detects the impact and micro electro mechanical system (MEMS) will detect this signal and send it to Arduino TDGGSM_908 microcontroller. The microcontroller initiates GPS, traces the accident location and sends an alert SMS using GSM to the police and medical rescue team. If the impact of the accident is less than the average calculated impact which causes threat to human lives then the alert SMS would not be sent.

Abstract--- In this paper we investigate an auto face annotation technique by mining weak facial ... more Abstract--- In this paper we investigate an auto face annotation technique by mining weak facial images which does not consist any data. These images can be collected from various sources like videos, random images, internet, CCTV, etc. However this is a challenging problem because the images collected have incomplete data, they do not have proper label and are random as well as noisy. Such images are called weak images. To improve the quality of these weak images we build a database by extracting various facial features of these images. Given a weak query image for identification, the auto face annotation technique annotates the query image and obtains resultant values. These values are then matched with the values of images stored in the database to retrieve the top ranked similar facial images. We detect and align the facial image extracted from a weak image with help of Haar cascade classifiers and extract the GIST features from the detected facial image. Different clusters are then formed for improved scalability of these images which significantly boosts up the performance of this technique.

ABSTRACT: People across the world face the problem of measuring their heart pulse rates .Initiall... more ABSTRACT: People across the world face the problem of measuring their heart pulse rates .Initially everybody went to hospitals and clinics to measure pulse rate and later they moved on to measuring instruments. Pulse rate can be counted by applying slight pressure on any artery in the body where heart pulse can be felt. In order to make it easy, in this paper a wrist watch is developed to measure the pulse rate. The structure of the wrist watch is sensitive as well as robust against hand movements. This wrist watch mainly focuses on measuring the heart pulse using a pulse sensor which is interfaced with an Arduino microcontroller incorporated with GPS and GSM chips. The pulse detector measures the rate of heart pulse in bpm units and sends it to the Arduino interface. Then the application informs the relatives and doctors about the patient if his heart pulse rate is irregular for a prolong time. It also gives information about the patient location and status in order to send him immediate aid and help.
