So you want to send a message to the world? Do it here.What the Hell is WriteTheWorld you ask?First, we wrote messages on Napkins in the Dining Hall to spread humor, and secrets, and funness around our school...but now...It's a project that is starting because my friend and I were talking about what we'd want to say if we could tell the whole world something. Would we finally get something off of our chest? Would we try to inspire? Would we want ot be remembered? What would we say? Then this magical thing called the internet came along and we could say it...in a pretty formulaic way. So we thought...how long would it take to write letters to like...everyone in the world, ok the country...maybe the state...ok just the city. still a long time. Why not just let people write letters they wanted ot send to the world, and other people would read them and it would spread and everyone would know. I have two new communities to promote:First: themedquotes Here, in addition to posting any quotes of personal interest, there will be a monthly theme. The idea is to gather interesting and original quotes on different topics and see what people can dig up. There might be some sort of competition or prize for this, but right now its just for fun. Topics will be voted on about a week before each month. This month's theme is (for lack of anything better, honestly its can be anything any month, I'm just being REALLY random): "The Devil and the Deep Blue Sea" so any quotes you think apply in some way to this theme are welcomed. Hope you enjoy this community!Second: eavesdroppers This community is a place to record those funny/random/profound/strange things you hear from strangers or friends. Someone ::cough::enay::cough:: left town without mailing the journals. So,, thusly they should go out Friday being tomorrow. I apologize for someone's mistake and will rectify soon as I can. plus shipping will take forever as we're paying for the cheapest shipping we can. plus we still don't have most of the addresses. Yeah...well...yeah.

I'm going to the post office tomorrow to mail the journals for which I have addresses...which I think are only the first two. Numbers 12, 13, and 14 I don't have your address even if you think you've sent it...so please get in touch with me or you will be replaced. Anyway, thats the update. OK, I guess at this point the best pllan of action is for you to e-mail me at enay@arcadianet.org or enay@mac.com and let me know your address. Right now I'm going to go ahead and say taintedsquirrel and in_lego_land have dibs on those next two journals and we'll see where it goes from there. From there on out we'll just kinda have signs ups...so heres the plan:You get your journalYou then post here saying you got it and ask who wants it after you. First person to comment gets it.You guys figure out about mailing addresses via e-mail.When "You" are done with the journal "you" mail it to them.Process repeats.Mailing CostsSorry, we at the AJP cannot afford on our summulative college student sallary of -$64,500 a year to pay postage costs for you guys, but look at it this way, you pay like 2or2 or 2or3 bucks once maybe more if its overseas. If it is overseas see if you can work something out...but please, if you dont want to pay any shipping costs just don't sign up for a journal in the first place.
