Teach Yourself Irish : Myles Dillon & Donnacha O Croinin. Retypeset by David R Smith. : Free Download, Borrow, and Streaming : Internet Archive (original) (raw)

This is the 1961 edition, retypeset by me, with corrections from the 1987 edition. This is the primary PDF file, (30.5 M).

A 'hard copy' is available from Lulu: ISBN 978-1-326-63460-5 with the Lulu number: *DID3382972*
It is still in copyright to Hodder and Stoughton, but I have permission to publish. An eMail to that effect is inserted into the file.
Also inserted into the file is the Gael-Linn sound recording made for the book, Gael Linn kindly gifted me the record set for this purpose, which I cleaned up, and cut to fit the text. Adobe Reader later than 7.0 is needed to access thes sound-bites. The audio is at present, unaccessable on mobile phones. Pity! Get your software sorted Acrobat!

A third party has issued a package for Android which makes good Adobe's omission with the embedded audio. Unfortunately, this package fails to correctly display one of the fonts used. This however is minor compared to Adobe's failure. The package costs about 1 USD, and can be found under Google Play, or here:
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=udk.android.reader.lite&hl=en

The 'Read Online" option here does not correctly represent the fonts used, so though readable, and accurate as far as it goes, does not accurately represent the downloadable pdf file.

I have removed files which are less than useful, and uploaded some other files.
The two larger pdf files are images of the covers for the LP set.
The DOC file is the MS Word retypeset file for the book, which is much more useful than the unnecessary text file, because text can be directly extracted from the pdf file, which is text based, ie, not a scan.
In the all files HTTPS directory, the Disc2.jpg file is a cdrom label designed for a cdrom to carry the course file.
Aso in this directory are the four files (aiff) for the LP set.

Should you require a hard copy of the book here presented as eBook, google the following number for a local source. ISBN 978-1-326-63460-5 Paperback, Perfect binding.
