wikidaynyc2019.png Part celebration and part conference, the Wikipedia Day 18th Birthday Bash was held on Sunday, January 13, 2019 at the Ace Hotel New York and hosted by Wikimedia NYC. One of a number of Wikipedia Days worldwide, the day featured keynote presentations, breakout group discussions, lightning talks and yes, for those present, cake. More than 150 people joined conversations about Wikimedia and allied projects presented by Free Culture Alliance NYC partners.
