The pamphlet was published by the Bristol Branch of the Historical Association, based at the University of Bristol. Electronic publication of the pamphlet series was undertaken from 2019 by the Bristol Record Society and the Bristol Historical Association. Scans of the pamphlets were posted initially on the websites of the two bodies. Slightly modified versions of the files began to be uploaded to The Internet Archive in 2023 to aid preservation and improve accessibility.
